Michaelmas is the celebration of St Michael on 29th September, which is one of Englands ‘quarter days’. It celebrates the coming of autumn and St Michael is the protector of dark nights. Great video as always. ❤️xx
Another interesting chat 👍👍. I wonder if Ernie is put off by the shape and colour of his new bath. The rim on the new one is a thin edge while his old one looks more like a rock pool with a wider, rougher edge that he can get traction on to climb out??? The new one looks to be enamel so slippery not rough surface. You had us smiling today. Take care, stay safe, well and happy. Judy 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Michaelmas is the Feast of Michael that is a time that signifies the end of the harvest and the start of autumn and the shorter days coming. September.
@@trevorpat-lifeontherun a bit of trivia for you. Michaelmas day is the signal that horse owners can safely feed their horses with the newly cut hay. Anything before that, is potentially dangerous to them.
You got it in one! We can all relate to you, Love the chats, About time the Crash is sorted out for you both, Happy New Year to you all. Ernies a typical male ! 😂😂 Xxx
It must be funny for you both as you are talking to a camera where as me watching it's like you're both in the room with me just chatting away, not staged or planned out just being yourselves. Love your daily vlogs as it's like having a live zoom meeting with a family member. Catch you both tomorrow 😊 x
It's hard to explain. We know we are talking to a camera, but a dog or a cat wouldn't know that at the other end of that camera were 4500 people. They would just see a couple talking to a device, but we know you are there, and that's who we are talking to.
when you are on your own we look forward to your chats from such a wonderful couple who i have followed from the beginning and long may it continue fondest regards to you both Alan
People watch you because you are authentic and don’t edit all the videos like many others do. Carry on being yourselves with your lovely sense of humour ❤
From the word go, I never wanted our channel to be polished and manicured, I wanted it to be a fly on the wall type of approach, and you have picked up on that and identified it as one of the reasons why people watch us. Thank you Lorraine.
Minus 5c last night and tonight here, it is like a skating rink on our road and pavement, i was scared to go out. Hope you both had a nice nap when you got back. I have a calander and write everything on it haha even bin days are on it.
Pat & Trevor , hope yous are well ?, please take it as the way it’s meant ❤️, yous are genuine people & I think it’s because yous aren’t living the robot life the youngsters live now . Am only 52 & it’s like spking to my grannie & granda , & I don’t say that often to anyone !!. So thank you keep well . Xx
Ah, the wisdom of the ages! Who knew 52 could feel so much like a cozy chat with Granma & grandad? We'll keep it real and not go all robot on you Gillian!
Hi Trevor and Pat its Helen regarding my stoma it must be the old fashioned calamine lotion in a bottle not the new stuff which has glycerin in it. I just wipe it on the skin leave it in a few moments it dries white and the bag sticks directly onto it. It works because there is a dry bond for the bag to seal to. 3 years and never had sore skin. Keep up your chats.
@trevorpat-lifeontherun Hi yes I get it from my local chemist, Boots do it at £2.85 a bottle and a bottle lasts ages in fact months. I have the type of bag which I change every day so this is brilliant stuff for me. Glad my stoma nurse told me about it. Helen
@@HelenFreeth You said that the new stuff had glycerin in it. How do you know you are getting the right stuff Helen? Sorry for harping on, but I think this could be really helpful for a lot of people, so just want to be clear about it. I take it you mean the stuff with glycerin in is no good? Thanks for your help Helen.
I’m post two days after corneal transplant and am limited to screen time for a bit but I will not you Trevor and Pat. I like that humour and everyday recap. If a person want to hear negative people you just have to go to a busy store and hear people carry on negativity
Motorhoming Mums were demonstrating that massage gun Trevor, it looked quite good. I doubt you will be the only ones to get the appointment date wrong, now they want you to do it all on line its bound to cause confusion. Especially with those who aren't computer savvy. Its all going to pot. Take care both of you and see you tomorrow, bye!!!
Why do I watch you?? Mainly the things I watch on TH-cam are because of the Characters of the people, another is it’s real life not all staged like some. As I’m 70 going on 71 I can relate to the problems memory loss etc. etc let’s keep having a laugh and carry on in-spite of it all.
I absolutely agree Alan, the only reason I watch TH-cam and subscribe is because of the people themselves, sharing their lives, I don’t care if they show things they regularly do…it’s about the people and their lives.
They said they could do it at 11.30, and it had to be a fasting blood test, so that would have meant waiting two and a half hours without anything to eat or drink, so Pat decided to come back next week Sue.
Happy new year to you both and the family. Just wanted to share my GP recent contact as maybe useful - I logged into my NHS app on my phone, and clicked on “contact GP about a health problem”…..via PATCHES. Filled in the questionnaire about my health (mine was just a flare up of my skin) attached a few photos, and it said I would be contacted by my GP or healthcare professional. The next morning my Dr rang me and after a quick chat, she issued a prescription for me to collect. It was a brilliant service and I hope this is now an easier way to access my GP, as not all issues need a face to face appointment and this was super quick and I didn’t have to stress about getting an appointment or missing work time. Anyway just thought I’d share my experience…take care x
That's good news. I have that app, and used it yesterday to get some information, and it worked. I too, like you Betty hope when I need some help from a Dr, that I can use this service and get the kind of response that you did.
I get appointments confused too. I like listening to your chats. Like visiting with friends.
I love listening to and watching you two...Pat is sooooo cute! I could put her in my pocket and take her home!! A lovely couple.xx
Haha, we might need to get a bigger pocket then! But honestly, we're glad you think Pat is cute; she's the real star of the show!

Its true that watching both of you and your ups and downs of living makes us feel we are not alone in this crazy world.
Pat and Trevor you are both such a lovely down to earth couple and you are both so caring to each other, keep well xx
Thank you so much for your kind words Joan! We really appreciate your support and love sharing our journey together.

Would have been Mums birthday on the 13th too it is on Monday, she passed away a week later on the 21st, this year went super fast

Hi Trevor and Pat - You Get So Many Kind Comments Because You are Such a Lovely Couple X
It never ceases to amaze us Karen. Thank you so much. 💓
You’re not the first..and you won’t be the last 😂 the times I’ve turned up for something like that, only to find I’d got the wrong day 😫
Haha, classic! Happens to the best of us. Just gotta forget about it and carry on, right? Thanks for sharing your story Janice.
Me and my other halve are just like you two go for the shopping with a list and forget the list so it’s ok Trevor and Pat

I can't blame the surgery this time Mary, it was absolutely all down to me.
We will give it a try Mary and see what we make of it.

Exactly
Oh dear that was annoyingly the wrong day for blood tests. We have all been their and it’s so frustrating ❤️🫶
My fault Karen, I just never noticed the date. Couldn't have been a worse morning too, although I have heard tonight will be very cold.
You must be minted shopping in Marks and Sparks 😁
Oh we are.
@ ha ha good for you 👍 £££ 👍
I enjoy your videos everyday, if you miss a day I get worried 😁
You would have thought they could have fit you in for the blood test straight away! It doesn’t take that long does it!
They said they could do it at 11.30, and it had to be a fasting blood test, so that would have meant waiting two and a half hours without anything to eat or drink, so Pat decided to come back next week Sue.
Does the legal team know about Pat's phone and purse going missing?
Yes.
😂😂....having practice runs now.
