You two are so funny together. You can see how much you love each other and it’s so good to see. My husband and I have been married for 51 years and say the same. We can’t imagine a life without each other. We are both so lucky. I know lots of people don’t have that. So we don’t take it for granted. Anyway. Happy New year to you both and all your subscribers. Xx
Pat tries to tame her hair with little pats and pulls but the hair has a mind of its own and bounces back with nice little curls that go where they want to go. So many of us ladies have to battle with curlers and curling irons. Pat's so luck to have it just grow out of her head ready to go.
A camper complete with your own cordon bleu chef Pat? Sounds like an idea. Complete with a dishwasher. Fireworks are being let off already. Must be a practice run for NYE in about seventy-five minutes time (Qld). Fifteen minutes to fireworks in Sydney and Melbourne and forty five minutes for Adelaide to light up theirs. Anyway, Happy New Years to both of you. May your health be good and that lottery ticket you were going to buy, be the winner for a needy person. Cheers... Hey, it's raining here, that'll put a dampener on things going on down town.. See you next year.
I can never understand why you wouldn’t have a birthday celebration even on or near Christmas. I agree with the rest you two make us laugh. I’m glad I’m not the only one that spills pouring coffee or almost anything out of a jug lol. One more day with company then I feel like locking my doors and pretending I’m not home. Everyday since Christmas. As I age I like being home with just hubby most of the week. Take care.
I totally get it! Sometimes, just chilling at home with the hubby is the best way to recharge after all the holiday madness. And spilling coffee? We're basically pros at that! 😂
I'm a new years eve baby, and my mum always used to say at Christmas "don't forget, it's for your birthday as well" 😔 But I always had a treat on my birthday 😊
Thank you for another grand chat. My son was born on boxing day , I've told him it's pay back time for making him miss my Christmas dinner the year he was born, it's usually half way through boxing day before we remember to wish him happy birthday.
I'm glad you enjoyed the chat! Boxing Day birthdays definitely have their own charm, even if they come a little bit late in the day. I won't tell him that's your payback.
Hello Trevor and Pat I like your vlogs.money isn't everything as long as you've got a roof over your head and can feed yourself and you've reasonably good health we.ll all be fine tomorrow's not promised to any of us thank you for sharing your daily vlogs Trevor and Pat take care ❤❤
Growing up my xmas birthday always got bypassed i never had a birthday cake or anything like that, this year i got spoilt because i told my Child and grandkids last year, how would you like it if i gave you all your birthday presents for christmas 😂I was shocked even my working Grandson got me a bunch of flowers, i did appreciate it but i did feel guilty haha
It sounds like you had a wonderful celebration this year! It's great to hear that your family made your birthday special, even if it took a little prompting.
You both look good 💕💕. Don’t fret about your hair Pat I bet the majority of us viewers could do with a bit of tidying up lol. Enjoy your trip out to M&S. Stay safe, well and warm. Judy🇨🇦🇨🇦
Haha, thanks! If only hair care could be solved with a good old M&S snack, right? We went for fish & chips afterwards and called in for a drink at the pub on the way back, after I had my haircut.
My mams was Christmas day ,we lost her nearly 4 years ago. Since she's passed I've struggled with Christmas. Anyway her sisters was Xmas eve and her daughters was the 23rd Dec. Mam said her and her sister always got a join birthday present with a Christmas one. 😢 yet all her other brothers & sisters always got birthday presents as theirs was through out the year. I've got my grandsons on the 3rd January, hubby 6th,brother in law 8th and my youngest on the 14th January. And then thankfully no more may June. Happy new year to you all best wishes for 2025🎉 xx
Sorry that Christmas comes with sad memories Belle. It sounds like your family has mastered the art of holiday scheduling! Just remember, if you can survive this gift-giving gauntlet, you can survive anything! 😄
Hi there Happy New Year to you both and all your family. My birthday was yesterday, the 29th December and yes it is disappointing to be told your gift is for Xmas and your Birthday, I always envied people having birthdays in Summer when I was growing up and going to birthday parties but these days I don’t mind as I just turned 67 yesterday so try to forget about birthdays these days😅😂xx
Happy New Year to you! Birthdays around the holidays can be tricky, but it sounds like you’ve got a great perspective on it. Here’s to many more wonderful years ahead!
Hiya Trevor and Pat Stephen Richards here thank you very much my wife asked you it was brilliant. We watch all your videos I am 68 and your right I was always told can’t afford any presents to near Christmas we will get you something later. Later never came anyway thank you very much.
Hey Stephen! So happy to hear you and your wife liked the video! It’s wild how “later” can sometimes mean “never,” right? Thanks for hanging out with us!
The best way is to prepay your funeral cost and buy a plan. My mum and dad each had a plan, they died 15 years apart (2009 and 2024) with the co-op and we were surprised that they upheld the cost of this plan for my dad with no extras added.
Hubby and i had funeral plans with our local funeral director. All paid up front. The money is held by an independent. We chose our coffins, service, bought our burial plots etc. Just as well as we did as my hubby was diagnosed with cancer and died within 3 weeks. It took alot of pressure off me. 😢 thank heavens we had wills and power of attorney sorted too.
@trevorpat-lifeontherun you must be. When a partner dies, it's surprising what crawls out of the woodwork. If anything organising ahead stops that evil taxman making a grab.
I know what you mean about one of you going first. My Mam had a massive stroke at 85 and Dad was her carer for 4 years until she passed at 89. He was absolutely lost without her and passed himself exactly a year and a week later aged 90. Its so hard.
You two are so funny together. You can see how much you love each other and it’s so good to see. My husband and I have been married for 51 years and say the same. Thanks Christine. You are right, happy marriages are not that common, we have to be so thankful.
Pat and I wish you all the best for 2025.xx

Ha ha, that's so 😁 funny, thank you.

Happy New Year! With all that rain, it sounds like the perfect excuse to stay inside with a delicious meal-preferably cooked by that cordon bleu chef!
You two are funny ❤ Your face Pat when Trevor sneezed 🤧 When Pat spilt the coffee! Trevor’s face when you said ‘he’s not a big man’ 😂x
Well, we're glad we make you 😃 laugh.
Your hair is lovely Pat! I love watching you two. You make me laugh.
Thank you Sarah. Xx

@trevorpat-lifeontherun
Always felt I was sharing my birthday with the world... which I was really 😄
That's a unique way to look at it! Sharing your special day with everyone definitely makes it more memorable.

64 does seem young now Jane.

How awful for you Julia, I’m so sorry for your loss. x😢
@audreyfforbes-hamilton thank you for your kindness. Bless you. 💝
Very organised.

Ye, I feel I wouldn't last two minutes without Pat.
Maudlin = Practical
Yes.
If it would not be too traumatic would you not want to hear his explanation?
Well Trevor, you know what to do now if anyone leaves rude comments, just flick them away!!! Lol!!! See you tomorrow, bye!
Ye, that was funny Mary.!
