Thankfully I haven't had sleep used on me much ever since the spread crossbow status buildup got nerfed. Low focus also means faster madness buildup too iirc
Quality is really good at 150. At “meta level” it’s isn’t stat efficient. The somber weapons hit so hard and golem arrows melt people. Not to mention quality is good for dual wielding and two handing where the other stats specialize in one or the other.
150 is the new meta level ever since DLC dropped and the demo had 150 chars. It's the most populated for invasions and arena by far, but I like 117 for invading, as you'll hit people actually progressing through the endgame and DLC
@@hideyasuyuki1 Interesting. They're def in the minority by now. I will say, damage at 150 is kind of dumb. You can 3 tap people even with normal atks in some setups
Well, you can't invade solo hosts without them using taunter's tongue first, so it's a 1v2 minimum, but solo hosts + hunters turns into a 1v3 without them having to actually find any signs. Should've gone the embered route like DS1 and 3.
Is it really that quiet? Although, I kind of understand what you mean now, the ingame sounds are loud. I'll turn them down on the next vid. And yeah, it felt like an afterthought, even with the arena with 1 recolored map x3. DLC items and ashes made stuff even more imba
@@deale- I think it's mostly his positive attitude. When it's a 1v3 your best bet is just having a build that can 2 tap the host and any phantom that gets in the way. There's just so much junk on the screen at once, and damage is super high, especially with the DLC items. 1v1 arena is still kind of fun for me, but it doesn't have any area variation.
@@ApophisPVP while ik ur correct, he also just uploaded a bow video.. bows. so ik it's a skill/knowledge ceiling. With the right mindset and mechanical know-how pvp looks fun. I also think PVE conditions to not aim for combos or know of one shot moves - bcs they dont exist in pve. But pvp is a different gameplan, and it introduces a different style/approach to succeed. If youre not showing up with a Tarnjshed Killer build you might as well not show up at all, you know that :p But og comment says pvp is ass, and it isn't. Maybe theyre just expecting the same pve experience/, while in contrast pvp is a specialized branch of gameplay, and if ur methods of killing tarnished is not specialized thats just the wrong approach (I think).
@@deale- I more or less agree with your statement of needing skills and a more specialized build. I don't think PVP is complete ass in this game, but it needs some serious system level adjustments, which I feel like they aren't ever going to make. Steelovsky or JeeNine have expressed it a lot more eloquently than I can. IMO, I find PVP in DS2 or 3 to be a lot more fun, because the conditions don't feel as unfair. You ofc, still need a build that's designed for PVP, but a 1v2 or 2v3 is a lot more manageable than the constant barrage of 1v3-4. Because TTK is lower, spacing feels more relevant and you don't feel as pressured to meta pick weapons. Not to say those games don't also have issues. Chase and other "career invaders" are definitely extremely skilled, and I'm not downplaying that at all.
Cool build, inspired me to try quality too but beware of bone bow with sleep arrow spammers because lion dancer helmet has focus weakness

Is there a reason why you use the lightning grease over another type?
IIRC, player characters have the lowest natural resistance to lightning. Most meta armors tend to lack direct defense to it too.
Hooray for hate mail! Build looks pretty strong but not unfair in any kind of way.
It's pretty fair. 3 shotting people is just what happens in Elden Ring tbh. I like the weapon selection variety, and the storm skills are fun.

@@ApophisPVP hey I actually agree with this. But there are some high level players who are insistent on 125.

Something about this game just encourages 3v1s, and I don't know what that is, but it's annoying
