@@ChaseTheBro Yeah, no idea why Miyazaki just suddenly decided "Let´s gut Quality down to hell for this game" I mean, even on high Lv, like 180+ it is mostly best to stick to a single element. Quality used to be a thing in Dark Souls +sigh+ I wish they would patch it to make it at least worthwhile BEFORE you hit 80 str or dex. Won´t count on it, though -.-
So many great moments in this one; The gravity kill with the guy playing hide and seek around the pillar at 03:21, The guy panic rolling for his life while you just stand there and tell him to calm down (wish you would of done the gesture) at 06:40, and that dragon in Farum Azula that has your number everytime.😂 "Welcome to my world, your I-frames are no good here, sir! Eat lightning glaive!" I think he's trying to prove that he's the dominant one by deleting your collective health bar at least once per invasion. To top it off, he usually kills the host for good measure. Now that I think of it, he may just be salty that you never came back to fight him like you said you would in your level up through PVP series but you took the time to fight the worthless dragon on the tiny platform that gives you nothing but some runes.🤔
I use storm blade on the knights greatswords since the AoW starts at your left shoulder and the third hit in a combo ends there so it looks really clean
I used this specific AoW to cheese most of the enemies in a LvL 1, no stats-boost run. This one and Glintblade Phalanx are noob friendly and pretty good.
I love Storm Blade. What I really like about bows is you can quickly and consistently fight at all ranges and Storm Blade brings that mentality to melee. Beast Roar too, stacked with Roar and Highland it's a quick and beefy punish.
I largely wanted it as a ranged option however the ability to significantly change your timings as well as the hyper armor on top of the sword and projectile hitting in poise wars makes it one of the 3 I use pretty consistently: Stormcaller, Storm Blade, and Piercing Fang are my favorites for the Claymore and Barbaric Roar can be useful as well
Hey Chase, been having a blast with the gargoyle's twin blade + war cry in a high strenth build, it allows to poise through almost everything and does a ton of damage, mostly because people don't expect the hyper armor on a twin blade and you can stack all sorts on top of it. Why don't you give it a 'spin' heh
Storm blade's personally, one of my favourite ashes. It's quick, stylish, adds a great ranged option to melee builds and is currently the only way I can play a character with wind magic lol
This ash has carried my low level builds into higher level areas, giving me a chance to prepare legitimately on my own. It really helps with the Gargoyal twins, Fire Giant phase 2, and Morgott.
Yo. The way you finished that first fight was incredible. I want to fight you so bad. Literally all I do on Elden ring is pvp now. My build is insane it feels perfect for pvp. I really want to test my skills against you man
Storm blade is a super early acquisition in many of my builds. I put it on a dagger (erdsteel is best) for a medium range side-arm for Faith-style builds. Int-style builds I'll use Misericorde with Pebble. Super handy. Vacuum Slice and Sacred Blade are two other favorites of mine that go on the greatswords.
For both PvP and PvE, simply having a ranged attack on something that's good "by default", like the Claymore, is just 🤌perfect. And in PvE specifically, it can get downright silly on the right build. On a Keen Nagakiba or Flamberge, it can turn into a boss-melting L2 simulator that gives old RoB builds a run for their money. It's not _"MAX DEEPS"_ but it's a lot of fun and is available from the very start of the game.
Hey chase, do you think you could do a dlc playthrough with taunter tongue active? That sounds very interesting to see as it’s rare for a solo player to even use it to begin with.
I like to use taunter’s. Had a bonkers Niall fight yesterday with two reds and two blues spawning in with Niall and his summons in pursuit. Felt like old times. Second red managed to get me in the end while I was dodging around Niall. More folks should use it, losing fights is just as fun as winning them sometimes.
Chase did you know if you dodge while charging a rapier you'll do a feint and unique animation? Might be cool to see in some invasions but I don't know how practical it will be. I just know that if ANYONE can pull of some duelist style invasion gameplay it's you.
Strength might be the best way to run a claymore but on a bullet ash of war like Stormblade keen or lightning infusions perform *much* better. Well, not like an extra 2-300 damage per shot is really necessary for an invader of Chase’s caliber.
do a hunter video, blue cypher ring and fight against recusants and bloody fingers. May be hard bc they often die quickly but level 50-60 at liurina of lakes has a lot
Reckon I’m gonna take the Dex/Arc build into the DLC, because I’ve only used regular smithing stones on it and it seems to get good drop rate RNG. Carian retaliation in the off hand, and a bloody Rogiers Rapier in the other. Spear + Dagger talisman, crit regen, and either the healing blessing ring or swaddling cloth, depending on what’s more efficient. Stay healthy, get booty. Catch ya next time!
2:53 thought it would anti-air him, as well. The end of that fight was hilarious. He totally gave up fighting. You're a free-aim god, dude. Are there fire bombs in Elden Ring?
You should make a video where you only have enough strength to 2-hand a weapon, like a great hammer. Then, you switch to 1-hand and throw the pitiful swing as a timing mixup, maybe you could find a roll catch
I feel like more and more, Chase has to just stand there and go "Bruh, what are you doing" to hosts that just...panic. It's hilarious. XD
Every pvp game. Life too.
You'd be panic rolling all the time too if you only had 800hp at level 150 😂
Wizards mentioned at least 0 times:
Since I started counting there were 3715.2 mentionings of Wizards across 319 videos.
Bonus:
17:42
0!? You're right, no wizards. This is rare.
Is this the first time?
Good bot
Better start counting booty instead. Booty is back in a big way.
Commence self destruct sequence
I tried St.trinas torch and it was a lot better than I thought due to sleeping the enemy and enabling you to get a few more hits in.
Wow. Guess ive been sleeping on it.
You can use it to set up the AOW for ruins greatsword. Very fun LOL
I love storm blade, wind is the perfect quality element. And I really hope quality in general gets some love in the dlc.
I feel the same way. Quality in ds3 was amazing. They did it dirty in elden ring

@3:58 I like how chase wasn't even phased by the host hiding in the bushes
for some reason when you said "backstab? B a c k s t a b, while looking like a flower" I just died laughing, thank you, I needed that
I use storm blade on the knights greatswords since the AoW starts at your left shoulder and the third hit in a combo ends there so it looks really clean
I love a good bit of animation blending. Might try this.
Chase: Need a ranged aow that hits like a truck and costs low fp?
Me: Starts a new character
What if i tell you... you can use it with your current build?
@@nicolasvillasecaali7662what if they already beat most of the bosses on their character and want to try the ash on them

Day 9 of asking ChasetheBro to make a Black Flame build video
black flame blade mixups would be cool
Agreed
it sucks in pvp no point
It might already be recorded for all we know.
New here? I see.
6:50 - Chase, "Calm down." *kills him immediately*
You could say that it, blows away the competition...
I'll see myself out now.
Except st trina's torch ofc
Ba dum tsk
Stormblade is such a great punisher and rollcatcher. I use it on a dismounter quite a bit and does serious work
It's realy fast on the dissmounter, and pretty much any GS. I use it on the Dissmounter too and I use it in melee range just because it's fast.
Chase’s 8+ year devotion to his BaeMore has got to be the greatest love story in FromSoft history.
What is honestly your most important attribute that you would invest in minus Vigor, Mind, and Endurance from the build? What is your go-to?
Vigor is always the most important one. Cant do much if you die in 1 hit.
I love Storm Blade. What I really like about bows is you can quickly and consistently fight at all ranges and Storm Blade brings that mentality to melee. Beast Roar too, stacked with Roar and Highland it's a quick and beefy punish.
storm blade blows, saint trina's torch is lit
Vacuum cleaners suck.
Love that you've been rocking this hat. Always been my favorite fashion. And the great helm.
I largely wanted it as a ranged option however the ability to significantly change your timings as well as the hyper armor on top of the sword and projectile hitting in poise wars makes it one of the 3 I use pretty consistently: Stormcaller, Storm Blade, and Piercing Fang are my favorites for the Claymore and Barbaric Roar can be useful as well
Been playing since Ds1, I appreciate the positive vibes you maintain while being a red man
considering a stance break + crit build since damage will scale differently in the dlc apparently.
St. Trina's Torch is better than I thought
Stormblade free aim into game of thrones sword buff with a radahn’s swords finisher was a moment. Long time fan, excited for dlc stuff, cheers
Storm Blade also shotguns at close range. That’s why it sometimes hits for 6-700 dmg
Straight to the dome, brother

Love Storm Blade on the Stitcher! It's such a great chase down option
15:25 noooo!! The tree robbed me of my happiness, I was laughing so hard and then he survived hahaha

I don't know how do you still have new build ideas but I love how you post so many vids keep up the good work man love you
Know what else has got good range? MY MO- I mean.. St Trina's Torch!
Chase brooooo I been watching your videos for years now bro. I'm amazed with your prowess in each video
It might just be me going crazy but it seems like there is more editing today and it’s pretty nice
it’s my favorite anti dragon breath tool
A number of souls game fights can be trivialized with some 500 damage wind like this
I always keep a godskin stitcher with stormblade on it
Yo. The way you finished that first fight was incredible. I want to fight you so bad. Literally all I do on Elden ring is pvp now. My build is insane it feels perfect for pvp. I really want to test my skills against you man
storm blade got me through my rl1 playthrough
Man storm blade really comes in handy when punishing someone who wants to heal when they think they’re at a safe distance
Chase I think you might have capitalized the i in the Ring for the title! 😂
This os my favorite ash for the claymore!!!
Idk why this was surprisingly fun to watch this ash is great when in good hands ngl
The double parry 😂
Storm blade is a super early acquisition in many of my builds. I put it on a dagger (erdsteel is best) for a medium range side-arm for Faith-style builds. Int-style builds I'll use Misericorde with Pebble. Super handy. Vacuum Slice and Sacred Blade are two other favorites of mine that go on the greatswords.
Omen Cleaver R2 and jumping R2 with Endure showcase would be pretty rad
You can tell Chase is an OG when he accidentally calls phantoms sunbros. Lol
I mean he’s not really an OG because he joined the community for Dks3, fuckin’ icon of the invading community though.
Ah so this is the spell the knights at stormveil do, the ones with the exile armour
The exiles.
The Haduken of Elden Ring
At this point I just click on chase videos for the torch comments
Storm blade makes greatswords swing as fast as a straight sword when using the skill.
The velvet guy is a genius!

Have you tried dual greatswords with quickstep? The double poke backstep L1 is really cool and quickstep makes it super accessible.
Not first but close please do curved sword parry I this is day 9
St. Trina’s torch is good for chasedowns and roll catches
Ah, Stormblade my beloved
6:50 poor guy. He only has two buttons on his controller!
You know it's gonna be a bad day when it's Chase's strength Baemore day
My first ever build had swordwind on a claymore! Great for pressure on bosses too.

You should make a build centered around the Godskin Swaddling Cloth.
Combined with regen spells, you’ll barely even need the red flask .
That's my favorite weapon claymore enjoyer here
ASMR Indaving your Elden Ring
Please do a faith and int build. There’s some crazy combos
Yo, ChasetheBlow here.

we love to see it
Storm blade is one of my top favorites🤙 I always have a weapon with storm blade ready
Can you please showcase placidusax ruin? It's great for finishing combos because it's so difficult to see coming.
Black Flame Blade incantation is Lit🔥,Dex Fth showcase!
wow that swap to the radahn swords was really nice
That blue attacking after the host died in deep root depths was a jump scare 😂😂😂
My 1st ER playthrough. I used this on the Radagon and Nessie. ,
Oh dang, just when I was looking for pvp vids with this AoW.
This is the combo I beat the game with for the 1st time.
Will you upload your DLC playthrough? I'd love to see it

Storm blade > Troll Roar
Go full rogue. Shortsword, daggers, crits, poison, bleed, bombs, crossbows, bows.
Yooo what's up chase ❤️
38 days until the release!!
Ah, ChaseTheBro and ChaseTheFoe his dragon buddy!
Ayoo 😂 Chase wrecking near, and Chase wrecking far!
black knife showcase is better than what people think
Hey Chase. Ever tried using Golem's Greatarrows? They have an explosive effect.
Thats why I say it again and again, Hidetaka Miyazaki must forbid use inventory while battle. You have quick slot on weapons and item, use it.
11:49 What killed the host? Chase was doing the riposte stabbing animation to the phantom, so it wasn't him.
2:53 thought it would anti-air him, as well. The end of that fight was hilarious. He totally gave up fighting. You're a free-aim god, dude. Are there fire bombs in Elden Ring?
