      @@bakewithspicesandflavors Thanks, I backed it this morning and it is almost gone. We love garlic and I added lots of garlic because of this my grandson did not like it; next time I will make on without it. I am happy that I found you on You Tube will bake more of your goodies. have a great day/afternoon.

    Focaccia bread usually has an internal crumb with large open gaps, the result of over proofing. The correct way to measure flour is by a weight. Focaccia dough benefits from being sticky which means extra hydration and oils.

    • @bakewithspicesandflavors
      @bakewithspicesandflavors  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Jon.. I beg to differ here. Focaccia instead is a bread with small air pockets. Yes correct way to measure is by weight so have shared both the ways because of the multiple requests I get to share cup measurements too.

    • @JonDisnard
      @JonDisnard 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@bakewithspicesandflavors Actually both Ciabatta and Focaccia are breads made with very high hydration dough. As such, when prepared correctly produce an airy & glossy internal crumb structure, due to the hydration and high oven temperature. Fortunately there are plenty of videos on TH-cam with the correct technique, here is one example: th-cam.com/video/JrtS9FTKvXs/w-d-xo.html

    • @gargijadhav202

      @@JonDisnard yes the bubbles are important in focaccia which is a result of good hydrated dough.

      She over kneaded it and that’s why her final bread doesn’t have any air pockets and looks super dense.

    Isn't focaccia a high hydration bread? Yrs too dry 4 proofing required topping shoukd be added only in tray after dimples that's why not enough air pockets

    You are not supposed to knead focaccia. That’s why your final bread turned to be very dense. You are also not supposed to stuff it with anything. Olives, rosemary, etc. should just be toppings.

    Also, what’s with the ‘of course’ before every ingredient? Like, of course you need all purpose flour. Lol, try not to be so condescending. We are trying to learn here.

  • @Melalunga

    Much too much yeast, your focaccia is much too dense...
