Now you get to add two cans of 32, two cans of 454 and a giant fire extinguisher. The little red flammable stickers you have to put on your truck are going to look real nice also.
For 18 years always had the Chevy Express models so this transit takes getting used to but love the space when on the job, it’s like having a warehouse on wheels.
Sweet set up👍🏻! I had been asking for a high top van for 5 years I going to quit unless my next van is a high top. Short roof van are from the past. That my biggest frustration with my job is going into a short roof van on my hand and knees to get supplies out of it. Have you found this to be beneficial for your job the taller roof?
I always hated getting new vans...takes a while to get it set up. Please, move you torches and nitrogen to just behind your bulkhead and never lay down your acetylene tanks. Another good location is between the rear doors and the shelving units. What you want is something solid in front of the tanks with something stronger than bungees to keep them from going sideways. I like to use eye bolts bolted thru the bulkhead (or shelving unit) spaced on either side of each tank. Bungees can be used on the eyebolts but I prefer chains. Bungees to stop the squeaks and rattles. And your manifold gauges...they look like they are the 410 gauges which is understandable that we need them for the higher pressures, but they are not very good for low temp refrigeration with 5 PSI between lines instead of 1 PSI on standard gauges. At the very least, buy 1 standard low side gauge like R404A/R22/R134 scales that way if you have to set superheat on a RIF you will be able to sway your 410 low side gauge with it and dial it in a lot easier. I'm envious of all your inventory...we always tried to stock up but come inventory time they would clean us out! I'm out of the trade now after more than 20 years of nasty kitchens. I watch a video now and then and of course my old techs still call me for help.
Veto warranties their bags for 5 years. Even without receipt. Just call and let them know and they will send you a new bag while they fix yours. If can’t be repaired you keep the bag they sent. Awesome company
I know this is an older video but if a customer is concerned about their gutters they should provide a proper place to land a ladder or have one installed
Some ppl on youtube already proved Milwaukee batts last shorter than DeWalts. Regardless, i would also still keep chargers for both in my truck id if i was you. Good loadout. Lemme know what state you're in where you can do HVAC and plumbing without 10 years sacrifice even if you have the skill to do them both now lol
I'm a 20 year service tech I've watched almost every tech van tour video I can find and not one has said anything about having a pump to clean the water out of secondary pans and that's a common problem I've got a battery powered pump and a hand power pump and two sponges on my van what do all you guys use
Love that high top van. Looks like you can put your ladder in the top and still stand upright. Love it.
Thank you so much for this video. Super helpful and well-presented. Your time and effort is most appreciated!

Your video working interactions with the men and women there seems remarkable in that you care about the people. That's rare.
Very well done
