I got it from a thread on Corvette Forum (two places two guys I trust). It MAY be in the factory service manual also, but I haven't ck'd that yet. If I find it in the FSM, I'll comment here. :)
Froggy, can you tell me what the manual or whatever is that you have there showing the 15 diff codes? Another good video from the Froggy studio!! ha Thanks, Dennis
Helpful video, thanks so much Froggy. I keep getting a resistance reading between 535 and 580. Is that too far from the chart value of 523 - 502 to be a #2 Key Blank?
hello, I just cleaned the terminals very well, and only one had a little bit of dirt, try again and nothing, after several attempts caught without problem, leave it for a while on, then turn it off again the fault is present, no longer wanted to move, suggestions, thanks
Hi mr froggy My c5 key is showing 897, 903,899 etc no matter how still I hold it. Does it matter it’s not exactly one of them? The closet is #4 at 887. Is it safe to say mine is a vats #4? Thanks.
Gregory P Good question, I did not realize I was blocking the contact point. It's the black "pellet" imbedded in the key. You touch the smaller silver "bit" that sticks out of the pellet. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. :)
Thanks! I carefully read all of Bill Curless's posts on the CF. Never too old (me) to learn something new....just in case.
I'll check my keys tonight.
I turned my Vats off as well as the 2mph fuel cut out with hptuners.... working very well for me....... :)
Yes, thanks for posting, HP tuners works very well for a lot of issues.

Found it. Low battery or loose battery connections can result in the dash instruments acting up.

For FIXVET, it's in the video.

@@1947froggy thanks. Where can I buy one besides Amazon?
@@1947froggy also does it matter if my key is a fat head or small head as long it’s a #8. Trying to replace corvette key
@@obe1canobe146 If head means where your fingers grab the key, then no does not matter, Key & pellet must fit in slot.
@@obe1canobe146 Locksmith stores, but be advised they may not have blank in stock.
