If it has an LFP and has 600km and a good price and here in Canada, yeah I might buy it. Because I want an ev with good range and can charge to 100%.

I thought BMW EVs were ugly, but now the Koreans have outdone them. Plus, made in China - why lose your clients, who just started trusting your quality?

Build quality in my long termer Polestar 2 (made in China) was considerably better than some of the Swedish Volvos we’ve seen lately…

@@chasingcars Oh, the Chinese can build everything, no denying this. But this won't change the fact that luxury priced vehicles made in China won't sell as well. What would people prefer - a Kia made in Korea (or Slovakia, for EU), or one made in China? Even if the Chinese quality is better, people will assume it is not.

I would want to buy a Korean car made in Korea not China…plenty of good Chinese brands already like BYD, PoleStar, MG, if you want to go there.

That's ideal but unfortunately cars being made in China is common for the Oceania region.
It would likely be a moral and ethical choice to prefer to have most of that purchase go back to Korea via a Korean company than purchase a Chinese state-owned car like MG.

Kia does so because it realises how successful Tesla has been, and it is pretty much thanks to the sufficient, reliable and cheap production in China.

And Tesla don’t forget Tesla.. it’s also Chinese oh and the Volvo is also made there
