- Today I will go with you through what I think are the 10 best Pokemon investing choices you can make when it comes to Japanese sealed products!
With 10 sets being released each year, it can be complicated to figure which ones are worth putting some money in, so let's figure it out together!

PS : As of the release of this video, the reprint of Pokemon 151 just happened in Japan, so prices will fluctuate heavily (one way or the other) in the coming days/week. Please take this into consideration.

Iono’s carrying so hard this set
To me a set that is carried by one single card isn’t viable long term (reason why I didn’t put Lost Abyss as well, for as Good as Giratina V is :-) ) Plus, Iono has been crashing hard, and myself not being sure whether the Waifu craze is over or will get a revive at some point, I wouldn’t bet money on a set that’s driven by a single Waifu.
Need the waifu craze to crash so I can pick some cards up! Lol😂

With the prices of 151, I might have to buy extra boxes as investment! I have been trying to do 151 master set too! Very hard to do 😂😂
I just got 2 more myself! :-) And since I edited the video it got even lower. At that price it’s a no brainer for as long as it lasts with a set like this.

What are your thoughts on Shiny Treasures?
Very good question. I love the set, I think that’s the only set since 151 with decent chase cards. Personally I see it growing but it will take a while cause even here it’s been printed to the ground. You can find it on shelves everywhere including Pokémon centers. Now because many shops are selling it below msrp at the moment (I’ve seen some as low as $26 box), can’t hurt to get a few boxes, worst case scenario you end up selling them in a couple of years at msrp but you’d still make money.
The best Japanese poke investments are no Japanese poke investments lol. English is king and always will be. Why invest into a down market that has always trailed English?
The Japanese market has always been and will remain fundamentally different from the English market. The offer is different, the demand is different, and the cards driving the market are different (Look at Paldea Evolved as an example). I have nothing against English, I myself collect English alongside Japanese (like any investment, diversifying is key), and for many investors, a down market just means more opportunities to buy, like what happened with 151 these past days :-)
