    I've exercised like this my entire life. I've now developed gut issues and crushing fatigue. Barely have the energy go for a simple 1/2 hour walk. Most frustrating
    is the medical field and trying actually get a real diagnosis. It's like I'm diagnosing and treating myself all based on internet guru speak and even in that world there is tons of conflicting info. The same list of symptoms are probably listed for 20 or 30 different conditions. Pick one a and say a prayer.

    To confirm this from my personal experience - with UC, moderate exercise (swim, low heart rate running for ~30min) works really well for me and keeps flares away. High intensity unfortunately leads to flares.
    If already in flares, the best is to get a lot of rest and have only short walks.

      Thank you for sharing that. Swimming is a great workout. And I agree that if you're flaring, keeping it minimal is a good idea. Great call all around :)
