On my 1964 Omega Speedmaster, I used toothpaste. It works almost the same as Polywatch. Just smells and tastes better. 😄
I would recommend polywatch as there is a huge difference. I used toothpaste in the past and this was a game changer.
@@vintageradar One of these days I will try my hand at Polywatch too. But for now (since using only toothpaste), my Hesalite is scratch free.
Does this remove the hidden S in the middle of the watch face? Or is the S applied from the inside of the acrylic
I believe that it’s integrated within the crystal
It did not remove it. It might be on the inner part of the watch crystal.
I have to take a closer look, but it did not remove it.
Hello, what's the cloth? Is it cotton or synthetic? Thank you.
Cotton, but you can find any smooth piece of cloth around the house, an old T-shirt, etc.
micro fiber works ?
Yes, that should be fine.
No, it’s not. I used a microfiber cloth and it left micro scratches everywhere on the watch.
@@tylerp4320 so whqtbdo you recomend ?
@@tylerp4320 I will try to have a look at that. Never had this problem before.
OK but what is on the towel
That is polywatch from previous watches that were polished.
