the absolute best use of the Bandana in MGS1: Successfully climbing the entirety of the long stairwell tower after Wolf. Hold left on the d-pad then start chucking Stun Grenades, make it to the top with your eyes closed
These codec calls aren't short compared to the ones in the other games because of CD capacity limits, it's just because it was 1998 and Kojima didn't have access to Wikipedia
This is why MGS1 remains my favourite. There is such a big and strong support cast behind the scene to call to (not just to talk to but to call to), and all weapons (and most items) have their uses. But since MGS2, quite a number of weapons became replaceable by several main weapons and the support cast were much smaller. I guess in MGS4, they just couldn't fit Nastasha in by any means

Like, I always thought she was funny because it seemed like everything could’ve been solved with cigs for her hahah. Anyways MGS4 is my fav MGS game because of the flashbacks and the nostalgia that it makes me feel, but I didn’t like the fact that you only have 2 people to call on codec.
A better view of Snake testing all weapons would be the entrance walkway down the Underground Storage Facility where Rex is located. It brings Snake closer to the screen
Can you do getting sent to jail in a scientist disguise in MGS3? Apparently at one point, there's a locked door you need to bypass and getting seen while disguised as a scientist causes the soldiers to take you to the jail cells rather than shoot you.
Everyone comments on the Box, I believe. The Colonel will talk about how effective it was in Zanzibar, and Snake will mention how it's saved his ass a few times to McDonnell. I wanna Meryl and Mei Ling will both say something similar, how the box goes with the Legend
I honestly prefer the all red Thermal Goggles to the Rainbow thermals you get in mgs3 or mgs2 HD. MGS4 has a similar effect to the original thermals with the solid eye NV/Thermal combo.
Not all but here: Revolver Ocelot: chase, dodge, and fire. Simple. Sniper Wolf (Fight 1): ask Campbell for help who will tell you to get a sniper and ask Otacon, then ask Otacon where the sniper is, then tranquilize Meryl to prevent her from dying, then get the sniper and shoot the living hell out of her
Ree King it changes a lot of the cutscenes and adds a tranquilizer gun. if you bought the hd collection on the ps3 you get the default mgs game. so its safe to assume most people will have the default mgs game
