Though I think Metal Gear Solid 2's Platinum is going to be MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, harder. So I'm going on Extreme first, then work my way down to Very Easy, so my future self can thank me for going through that hell first instead of having to climb my way up. It's how I got the Platinum for Call of Duty Classic.

1 weapon per 5 minutes of gameplay... MGS4 has the best gameplay in the series, it's such a travesty it was wasted like that. Even in Chapter 1 and 2 you have to avoid making friends with the militia (the logic thing to do) because otherwise you can straight up walk through whole areas uncontested. Kojima honestly stopped knowing how to design video games after MGS2. Also this guy didn't show how the XM25 scope range finder actually allows you to program grenades to airburst at a designed distance, specifically to hit targets inside doorways, windows or behind cover. Just like real life (whole purpose of the weapon).

Its amazing how a 2014 Japanese game like MGS4 depicts IRL weapons and their reloads virtually correct and even showing the tiny details (Ex: AN-94 slanted magazine & hyperburst feature, pulling the charging handle last when reloading the PKM, the variety of ammunition seen from the spent cartridges including the MP7 & P90 ejecting spent bottleneck cartridges, P90 spitting spent carteidges downward, the translucent P90 mags actually showing bullets depleting, etc.) Despite some errors (Ex. SVD charging handle not locking back when empty, Snake pulling the charging handle even with one round in the chamber or not using the bolt catch on weapons having one, etc.)
It's a quirk of the MGS series. The tranquilizer guns always worked like this until some variants in MGSV. They'd be pretty OP without the slower fire speed tbh.
It shoots a custom .22 round that doesn't have enough power the cycle possibly below sub sonic and Since its suppressed it was intentionally not to cycle soo you can have a much more quieter gun. just like the real life M92f hush puppy variant which was featured in MGS2. The pistol have a switch that prevents the slide from moving for much more quieter gun this result to manual racking of the gun slide as well. Alot of guns have this idea like the S&W Mk22 mod 0 or the welrod/VP9. While the traq round are quetionably victional, Guns moded like this are realistic and I've seen several people on the net and in real life make a custom hush puppy ruger .22's
I hope they bring it back with the remastered collection. This has been stuck on the PS3 for too long.

Out of all the weapons in this game, I only used 8-12 of them. The game has a nice selection though.

Was hoping for some reference here. Sadly there is no XM16E1. The camo pattern is very distinct but hard to make out in MGS3.
