If you can block it out from being cannon (I can’t) then it’s not so bad, especially if you were a kid and liked the TV show that eventually came around at that time. I was lucky enough to get to see part 1 in the theater and 2 when it eventually came out. That being said I’ve had the trilogy on DVD for like 15 years and I could never bring myself to watch part 3 after being so disappointed as a kid when compared to 1 and 2. 😂

Rogue City is actually a midquel meant to fill in the gaps in story left inbetween RoboCop 2 & 3 like What happened to Old Man after RoboCop 2, How OCP was brought out the Kanemitsu Corporation and How the Resistance formed.
Why? Why did they develop a man of tragic fate of being killed, becoming a robot and then regaining his mind into an overpowered killing machine uttering cheesy jokes?
Makes you wonder how the hell they didn't hear him enter the room. It's not like he had soft footsteps. I hate this third movie, especially when they killed off Lewis. It was such a weak way to put in emotional drama in a cash grab movie.
dpd IS ocp by the third movie they "controlled" the funding for them in Robocop and have been scaling back said funding right from the first movie (along with causing enough mayhem behind the scenes to essentially force Detroit itself to become bankrupt by Robocop 3 and OCP bought the entire city to make Delta City)

I like the original Robocop, with Peter Weller as Robocop!!
The script was so bad that Weller turned down the chance to return, that and he got tired of spending hours in makeup putting on the suit.

One of the shittiest most kiddie friendly movies of all time. Robocop only kills one guy. And it even has a bratty kid in it that ruins ED-209.
