    the re-designed helm stations' protection is awesome - very in line with 2023 aesthetics. super sleek and hyper-modern. great job, guys! can't wait to see a video that looks more closely at that cury-edges windscreen and carbon structure - and to see this implemented on HH 55, including the new black fixtures in the interiors.
    light-grey paint is sooooo much easier on the eye than slaughterhouse white. that grey lends the boat a kinda military feel, that's very fitting to this beast of a cat.

    What a wonderful example of a perfectly designed cat. I have test sailed a HH50 SC and OC and can tell you they are every bit as impressive in real life as this video shows. I think this is the best HH video to date. Well done. 😀

    They're dropping the ball with this new 50. They need to figure out:
    1) forward steering /cockpit (they don't have it right in the 54 yet either)
    2) a forward theatre - with low cushions draining to front nets.
    3) rear sugar scoups and stairs don't look secure - they look like someone could fall right off.
    4) a flydeck with single nav station - and not these two half height stations .... goofy things.
    They got the interior salon right - it looks great.

    April 4, 2024. HH factory tour vids/interviews produced by Jason and Nikki Wynn for their TH-cam Channels demonstrated why the HH boats are so much in demand. HH knows how to use carbon fiber to build some very desirable boats. The innovative hybrid Wynns HH42OC that was just delivered is perfectly designed for their all electric cruising. Only time will tell but HH may have set the standard for recharging the battery bank from the spinning propellers while under sail.

    I have a new catamaran and/or trimaran hull design which has been in progress for the last 15 years. It is new/novel and therefore patentable.
    The hull is asymmetric. Though, for description purposes, it could be described as a variant of a conventional symmetric and a conventional asymmetric hull shape. Since, its shape is symmetrical above the waterline and asymmetrical below the waterline, the result of extending existing lines of a conventional symmetric hull at and below the waterline.
    This catamaran and/or trimaran hullshape is suitable for a range of craft from SAILING to small and medium POWER craft.
    SAILING: The hull's benefits for a sailing catamaran or trimaran are;
    *speed
    *pointing ability - VMG
    *no necessity for of dagger or centreboard
    *simple, flat panel design lines, ease of manufacture.
    POWER CRAFT: Benefits of an symmetrical hull shape without the negative characteristics such as;
    *speed of asymmetric shape
    *more balanced reaction to waves - less broaching
    *banks in turns
    To anyone with interest. Cheers

    ...these factories could rival most european factories...
    Lets take then with a grain of salt shall we!
    Also they are significantly cheaper, and thus this boat should cost a fraction of the price of an european counterpart.
    Also no hydrofoil. For 2023 is a big nono, hence should come with an ever bigger price drop, being old tech, inefficient tech.

    Hardly rigged for a couple in their 50-70's to handle easily. Should be three furling sails, boom furling main, self-tacking jib, and all-purpose screecher or UPS forward. Should be a way to move the tack of the big sail from bow to bow from the cockpit for different off wind angles. Ideally the jib track would run rail to rail with traveler control line led to cockpit, and barber haulers for the big sail led to cockpit.

    • @HHCatamarans
      @HHCatamarans 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It has three furling sails and a self tacking jib, just like you are requesting! These boats have great performance but are no harder to sail than your conventional charter cats. Thanks for watching.

    • @pbr-yt8zc
      @pbr-yt8zc 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@HHCatamarans No I am saying three sails total, self tacking jib, UPS/Screecher, and boom furling main. Rotating mast would be preferred with furling main, and free standing rotating better yet. A fixed sprit is pretty useless beyond 90 degrees apparent need an easy way to move tack of UPS bow to bow from the cockpit. Also should have single line traveler control line for jib leading back to cockpit. Conventional charter cats are hardly set up properly, bad comparison.
