Well I am not an expert by any means on the scientific aspects of R-value but to sum it up. R-value is the thermal resistance value and it is based on a material's properties and thickness. R-value is short for Resistance Value, R-value is a measure of thermal resistance and how well a particular material keeps heat from moving into or out of a structure. Anything with an R-value below 4.5 is probably better for spring, summer and early fall…while anything above 4.5 will be better for winter and cold weather use.
Are you talking about a link for the Flextail zero pump or the adapters for it? The pump comes with adapter that should fit most sleeping pads. Thanks again for leaving a comment and here is the link to zero pump: amzn.to/3yrXPiN
I read earlier that the tensor extreme has a different kind of valve than the earlier pads. So i would like to get this newer type of adapter for the pump.
@@rutaswild Nice! Glad you got one. They are awesome! I've pumped up 14 sleeping pads on one charge. I might have even used it a few more times for deflating as well.
Yeah, but like any battery when it's cold I always keep in on me and I usually keep an extra battery. The batteries are rechargeable and removable. Do you own this or have you tried it? What has your experience been?
Yeah and it has a usb port on the battery which I thought was weird at first, but I like it actually and it is replaceable as you mentioned. Thanks for the comment btw!
That was very informative Ignited! Thanks for another awesome video!
Thanks! Yeah that was my goal, hopefully it helps others out who are interested in these products.
Very informative!👍🏻
Thank you!
What is R-value and why should I be concerned about it?

It was out of stock when I tried to buy it on Amazon Canada, so I used AliExpress, got it within a week

@@petinkong You should not need a new one. The valve for the extreme is the same as the valve for the other tensor pads. You should be good to go.
So you tried it out in 20° AND…………..?

Flextails are great until yheir batteries die and wont charge after 6 months
I’m sorry that happened to you. It always sucks when gear fails! Have you reached out to their customer service department? What was your experience?
The new pump zero has a replaceable battery....
