I figured out why I kept locking up after putting in my pin. Auto start stop has to be off otherwise engine shuts off and triggers lock up.

Thanks man! You will need to do a firmware update on it, if you have a labtop you could just bring it to the truck and plug it into the tazer. Otherwise you will be like me, destroy your back pulling it out to update then reinstall. Lol!

How did it get into limp mode?
After updating tazer i whent ahead nd pluged in car to use it nd it took me str8 to the pin ! Thats were the sequance was NOT saved nd messed up putting my pedal in limo mide disabeling my pedall!!
Well that's no good, Joe is usually pretty good at helping people with Tazer issues.
Scott from tazer helped the issue tho so that got solved , as for the pin nit being saved nd deactivating my gas peddal . Ty

Question out of ignorance - does the horn sound as well when the lights and deterrent settings are activated?

Awesome dude, so for me the horn did not go off. It may of been a setting that I did not enable, however the lights still did their light show thing!

Horn should also be enabled in settings to be activated if attempt of theft
I’m curious to see what will happen if you put the truck in Drive prior to the countdown going to 0 can you still pull off?
As soon as you put it in Drive, it locks everything up, and it's not able to be driven. This is even before the countdown goes to zero.
If no pin entered it will lock down with the set features
Does the taser dt need to stay plugged in for the pin to function ? Had my 2022 ram stolen and definitely don’t want to deal with this again when I get a new one
There's a new firmware update where the Tazer does not need to be plugged in to enable this feature. I'm awaiting to download it and test it!
so the pin sequence set-up is not numbers but a choose-able button configuration on the wheel?? i tried to order one but they told me to wait cause there was going to be some ram updates? so im waiting

Yes you are correct, you can your sequence of buttons to disengage the PIN. I have had mine for a year and a half now. The updates only keep making it more useful.

How long were you going to order, on November 14 is when they released some major updates for the tazer.
@@superbrowndudenational_trx they told me a few days ago that some major upgrades were in the works for the 25/3500 trucks so I am waiting to hear from them?
I would just order it and enjoy the features it has already then do the firmware upgrade when it's available.
Does installation of Tazer voids the TRX warranty????
I would unmarry it before you visit the dealer for service. Depending on what they are performing.

It really depends on what you are taking it to the dealer for. I've left mine in before when I brought it to the dealer for a recall. You would just have to unplug it, and not unmarry it. So the live features would not work.

Okay cool, I almost died 🤦♂️😂. I see why they did the abs module instead of the engine...to retain remote start! So cool, way better than some dang dongle to plug in that keeps remote start off!

I'll be making a video with the Tazer shield by Brawler Fab. It protects the unit so it cannot be easily unplugged or tampered with! I'll have the video up next week!

The Tazer DT will work with other 5gen Rams.
The first MODEL Tazer Works on chargers challenger up to 2014 then u need by pass for later year models

What happens if you unplug it. Can a car thief just unplug it and drive off?
So Brawler Fab makes a box to secure it, the last update keeps it functional even if it's unplugged.

What happens if you remove the tazer out of the odb port
It doesn't plug into the ODB, however removing it will disable that function. There is a shield that Brawler Fab designed to help reduce the chance of this happening.

This is where the problem lies with this feature unplugging it disables it and everyone who steals a car especially one of these is going to know just put your hand up under the dash and unplug it

IGLA installers telling me the tazer will leave me stranded and he can reprogram new keys and steal my truck in 4 minutes with a tazer installed? Fact?
Not a fact, seems more of a sales pitch. While the Tazer has the anti theft features, it's not marketed as an anti theft device. The latest update has features that will work when the Tazer is also unplugged as well.

Be carefull w this tazer nd its firmwear mines nevervremmebered (STORED) the PIN nd car was stuck with out me able to bring it back !! Till had to call tazer nd be back nd fourth to MAC nd car for 1 hr to bring car back SMH they operate on chinese owned mac driver on sll ther firmwear thats why this crap happends
Be carefull w these firmwear as they are chinese firmwear nd will cause glinches nd destroy ur BCM function on car by not storing propper memory!!! Dnt say i did worn u
That would definitely suck, luckily I've had no issues for my Durango and Ram for 3 years with no issues!
I did not either for 4 yrs till this new MAC firmwear updating ZPU options was recomendet. SMH

i posted that on taxer website that link that tells ppl to gonuodate mac driver nd that link is a chinese driver update site ! I posted link for u to see it did u check it out it is also posted on how to FIX TAZER , scroll nd u will find it , (MAC DRIVERS UPDATE link ) for sone reason i posted this link here too but now it wont show any time i talk bout it !! SMH

@@superbrowndudenational_trx 18.2.4. I try the kill pedal disable. The pandal won’t work if you turn off. But they say even if you unplug it. The pandal still won’t work. But I try it. I turn it off. Turn it back on. It works. But if I wait for 30 minutes later I came back. It won’t work.
Live options memue will stop working , meaning functions of live settings while tazer plugged in car only .
