thanks for this video. i’m formally diagnosed with autism and adhd and i agree with everything you said in this video completely! it’s like you know exactly how to put it into words.
also, i was wondering, it’s ok if you don’t want to/ feel free to disregard this, but i’m curious on your opinion on personification of objects/toys and thoughts on ‘imaginary friends’/ and object sentience?
i’ve always connected to objects like plushies and dolls and figures as if they’re real people. same with animals too, my relationship with them is very much like with people as well

Your comment's really kind and sweet. I've done the same thing with plushies sometimes.

Honestly this was something I needed to hear today, I have trouble socializing a lot and tend to stick to myself because talking to people makes me feel so awkward and out of place, always thinking about what I’m saying, what I’m about to say and if I am going to say the wrong thing. Always seeing people relate to me in a way is comforting.
I’ve been watching some of your content for a bit and I can tell you’ve got a good heart, keep pumping out videos that make you and your audience feel good (especially DC stuff) :D 👍

I'm autistic too (non-verbal), and while I may not have as many struggles with interpersonal relationships as others, I have an extremely hard time vocalizing my thoughts, especially when I'm by myself. I make videos too, but I find it very hard to talk without a script. I continue to be impressed by your presentation style, and I'm hoping with practice I can convey my thoughts half as well one day! Good work as always

This is wonderful. Thank you very much for sharing. I don't have the chance to be diagnosed, but everything you said resonates deeply. I'm a high masking individual in their 30s, and it has been an unnecessarily difficult journey. We care about you too!!

I was diagnosed at age 6 as having a form of autism described as "highly functioning, developmentally disabled".
Overall, it has not caused many issues, but it's nice to hear someone speak positively about it as there is sadly a largely negative stigma surrounding the subject.

@cganimefan1267 And thank you for always being so kind, not only in your own videos, but also when you comment on other videos.
TH-cam would be a far better place if more people had a similar attitude
