Lovely lathe, Tomislav....look forward to seeing it in your shop! Thanks for the video of the Neureiter event....great to see the shop and some of the other turners there, especially Matthias and Johannes!
I’m drooling’. Thanks for sharing Tomislav.
Good experience for you…with all this old chaps ( friendly means) and now I’m waiting for the TT signed scrapers 😊😊😊 cheers my TH-cam friend from Luxembourg 🇱🇺 europe
Fantastic event! It looks like you had fun demonstrating your impressive skills.
Cool video. That tiny piece is absolutely crazy good. Keep up the amazing work. 👽
I really enjoyed watching that. It was good to see the similarities and differences of the symposium or gatherings I've been to.
Great to see other wood turners.
Thank you for sharing.
Looked like a great event 🤠🇨🇱
Great tour! Thank you!
Tomislav, you need to build one of those “leg powered” lathes! Looks like a great show. Thanks for sharing!
that is a pole lathe.
Looked like fun.
A good time Tomislav. If your imagination takes over control of your wallet you will need a bigger workshop. I have the 230 with extension and swing away and also the KS grinder. Both are amazing machines.
Thanks for sharing your experience there. Did you bring anything new back for yourself?
It is certainly eye candy for us woodturner enthusiasts, no matter where we live. BTW, I never understood why they sell wood lathes that are way more expensive than a comparative metal lathe with so many intricate moving parts and rather complex fitting parts that are a lot more precise and accurate???? I guess it is a DEMAND-SUPPLY relationship
Man, I wish they sold the Stratus XL in the USA!
Thanks for posting something a bit different. Love the quick look at the work of many talented individuals as well as the machinery available in Europe. One striking difference between here in the USA and there is difference in safety rules. In the US, demonstrators are behind safety shields to decrease risk of injury to spectators from flying "stuff." A result of our legal system, I think. Thanks for a nice day out.
I have a stratus XL, nice lathe.
I also have one from Simon Hope. Very impressive like all his products.
Great video, but I do have a question. 3 minutes in you're turning a thin piece with a skew. Is that a square end skew slightly rounded over or is a more traditional but rounded over, I couldn't tell. Thanks, love the videos, Jeff
You didn’t know you had fans! What?
You have fans in sarasota, Florida
A non-turning question, please.
When you are at a meeting where so many different countries are represented, what is the common language spoken so that all will understand?
I’m guessing English.
The fu 230 is one of the best but large, heavy, and expensive. Do you have room for it?
I would make it fit😄
