- "Nobody Does It Better" is a power ballad composed by Marvin Hamlisch with lyrics by Carole Bayer Sager. It was recorded by Carly Simon as the theme song for the 1977 James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me.
"Nobody Does It Better" became a major worldwide hit, spending three weeks at #2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 but was kept out of the top spot by Debby Boone's "You Light Up My Life" and #1 on the Billboard Easy Listening chart.
Among the most successful Bond themes, the song received Academy Award and Golden Globe Award nominations for Best Original Song in 1978, losing both to "You Light Up My Life" from the 1977 film of the same title. At the 20th Annual Grammy Awards held in 1978, "Nobody Does It Better" received a nomination for Song of the Year, and Simon was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female. - เพลง

This was my our wedding dance song. I was her kidney donor in March 2003, and we got married in March 2006. She died in February 2022-three days before Valentine's Day. Always love her, and cherish the memories.

When music was away better than what we have today! Such a big difference. Unfortunately music made a wrong a turn at some point and became garbage! Maybe with a very few exceptions! But nothing compares the music played in the 70s and 80s.
50s and 60s weren't too bad either,but 60s - 80s was the best.

First Bond movie I ever saw my late older brother took me to see it. Thank you Allen he was such a good man taken far to soon.
First one I saw also. My childhood friend Dennis introduced me to Bond as well as foreign sports cars (I'd only cared about Trans Ams, Mustangs, etc. before that). His parents had a Porsche 924 when they were new and no one thought of them as duds yet. I Googled him a few years back and discovered that he'd died young, too (aged 37).

What a year, now if I can Bragg a lil about myself for a second! This song was playing in my mind when I at 10 years old in 1977 was standing on the champions box for winning the 1977 southern colorado youth Olympics! I still have my medal and 6ft. Trophy that say 1977 colorado Olympic champion! Yes, I'm kind of proud of that moment! It was also the year my folks divorced and I thought that if I win thus thing I can bring them back together? Well hopes and dreams were crushed, but fuck it, at least on that day in august of 1977 my world smiled and I brought home a champion! Myself!
