@@waddledottzMorgana is more likely to be based around Silence. I think Sylas could be a really cool (but very hard to balance) champion based around stealing card's abilities. Like the text on the cards, and then either adding that to himself or creating that text as an X cost card in your hand, maybe 2 or 3 mana depending on how you want to balance it
I think one thing Petricite doesn't do right now it does in the lore is dampen even potential magic, not just its active form. One new potential keyword for Demacia that's the complete opposite of Attune: Absorb. The enemy loses a spell mana if it has any. It could be a unique effect on attack, or just like Attune, work on summon but be available on many potential cards.
I think Sylas would be cool if he has "when I level up, manifest a champion spell from the opponent's deck" (IDK how the wording would go but basically he creates a champion's champ spell from the opponent's deck.)

i legitematly played this deck last season against samira fizz and it was so funny to see how they needed all their mana to scratch my stoney surpressors, but i played galio udyr. When Udyr strikes then suddenly all your stances don´t cost 1 mana more, but instead are free. nice combo with single combat. i also later played the stonehorn, cause of the stats. more fun to play demacia like this instead of elites

I imagine Sylas as a challenger with something like “While I’m attacking,any player target me or my blocker with a spell will have to pay 1 more mana” LevelUp condition:I have seen 3 spells played with increased cost. Sylas2:The same thing but with Round start:Create the highest cost spell that was played last round.Reduce it’s cost by 1 for every spells with increased cost played this game. That way you can still play the anti spell deck while keeping his spell stealing thingy without y’know being too broken and relying on the enemy to play a spell.
I think Sylas will do the same thing as that shadow isles landmark (cant remember the name now, it has picture of book on card), but instead of random spell you casted, it will be random spell enemy casted last round. Lvling after stealing 3 - 4 spells from enemy, so in 3 or 4 rounds if turbo. LvLed Sylas will reduce the spell cost of stolen spell to 0 and maybe change the random spell into the most expensive one from last round. He will prob have challenger and self heal after attacking (basically what Kayn has since that pretty much reflect his kit in LoL).

Won't really matter unless he has overwhelm or a similar strong keyword, but we know demacia isn't known for its overwhelm units. I still stand by my idea of him stealing skills (like we've seen in the mageseeker game). There's a strong argument for him being a runeterra champion since in lore he's in freljord atm.
@@MiiMavis at that point you really only make burst speed spells worse since you can play fast speed spells during combat, unlike focus i'd say one thing that might be an issue is that for some reason there is a singular fast speed spell that increases stats of a unit, i don't get why but there might be some reason that almost all stat increasing spells are focus, burst or slow and this mechanic might break something

I think one cool thing they could do for Sylas would be that he copies any spell played by the opponent but on the opposite side. It would work as an anti spell angle and would be very in line with Sylas'flavor. It would probably be too strong though.

I would like to see a spell that give your nexus tough for one round, like maybe burst speed, I feel like demacia could be really enjoying that
Honestly strikes me as more of a Freljord spell, considering Lissandra and their greater emphasis on Burst/Slow spells rather than unit-based effects.

Imagine a Frejlord Runeterra exclusive who is a necromancer who brings back Lissandra’s sisters and uses them against her.
