Awesome. You guys uploaded this at the perfect time. My throttle is hanging and the slide vacuum plate seal was just replaced and I have a complete gasket set to put in it. Do you have to remove the TPS when cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner? Also I just got an ultrasonic cleaner for this job, what solution do you use for cleaning carbs in there?
You don't have to remove the TPS when cleaning in the ultrasonic. In our How-To Rebuild video we leave it on. We use a Simple Green and water solution around a 1:10 ratio, with the temp of 105 so it doesn't discolor the aluminum. You can check out the rebuild video here: th-cam.com/video/Hkn0tHP1vSg/w-d-xo.html at 17:58 we show how we put the parts in the ultrasonic cleaner.

@@rmatvmc and by 1:10 ratio I assume the 1 is the simple green and 10 parts water?
@@ninjazxd Yes
Who else thinks the slide in the FCR is hilarious looking, with its 4 little wheels?

Yeah and one of my wheels doesn’t stay on when it’s out of the carb it’s kinda a pain
