VForce 3 reed valve install on 1995 CR250 (intake manifold prep)

I don't know why the audio got messed up, but I'm done messing with it.
How to prepare your stock intake manifold for VForce 3 reeds if your intake has rubber tabs on it.

Great Vid looks like a razor blade can do the job as well, But yes had to sand it down a little bit.

I just received a set of v 3 for my cr500r
Not real happy that i have to butcher the manifold rubber.
Also, these carbon petals aren't really sealed at the tip. Up to the light and gaps everywhere 👎

@@tikkabrno from what I've heard, it's ok if they don't seal completely when looking through them, when the bike is creating a vacuum that pulls the petals in so they seal up nice and tight. I wasn't super happy about cutting up the rubber either, but I couldn't find stock Reeds anywhere, so I got the aftermarket cage mostly for lack of stock parts.

Did you use any sealant when reinstalling the intake manifold back to the reed?

No, I just used a new gasket, I believe the reeds came with the gaskets needed.

@@mischiefhoodie5201 just opened my new vforce 3 reeds for a cr500. No washers or nuts. Tight arses for the price I paid here in Australia 🙄
