- Tripreports. KLM Embraer ERJ-190 Inflight Flight Review. What is it like to fly onboard an Embraer ERJ-190? In this video we take you along on our journey from Copenhagen Airport to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport where we fly in Economy Class onboard one of KLM´Embraer ERJ 190 aircraft. This "What is it like to fly?" video includes footage from in and around Copenhagen Airport, including Self-Service Check-In, Self-Service Baggage Drop, a walk through the Duty Free Shopping Area, the Food Court, a visit to the Copenhagen Airport Aviator Lounge before you walk with us through the airport to our Departure Gate for our KLM Flight to Amsterdam.
From the Gate we Board the aircraft and the Trip Report video includes a look at our Economy Class Seats, Legroom, the Seat Belt, Pushback, Taxiing to our Runway, Takeoff from Runway 04R, our Ascent to Cruise Altitude. When in the air we show views from the Embraer ERJ-190 Economy Class Cabin including a mini tour of the Embraer ERJ-190 Lavatories. We also show you the KLM Inflight Magazine, the Air Sickness Bag our complimentary Inflight Meal (a snack) which also includes a complimentary alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. We the take you through the descent towards Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Final Approach, Short Final (Approach) and finally our landing at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. We then view the taxiing of our aircraft to our parking position and finally disembarkation of the aircraft. This was the first of two flight on our journey from Copenhagen to Kuala Lumpur!

54:13, 3 and a half years later, yesterday, for the time, I fly Easyjet air flight U22519 from London Luton airport, UK to Amsterdam and it's the same KLM Fokker F100 that your filming in 2019 and it's still there today. The flight is good and quick, 43 minutes of flight time. Amazing that you see the KLM Fokker F100 in Amsterdam when you arrive in 2019. I arrive in Amsterdam last Thursday for the 1st time in 2023, see the KLM Fokker F100 and 2nd European country to visit after the United Kingdom.
Finally got to watch this trip report, is queued along with the others in my 'Watch Later' list.
Funnily enough, was reading about the Öresund Bridge the other day, pity it was too cloudy to show in your trip report.
Jou Afrikaans was baie goed, maar hy gaan mos wees as jy in Kaapstad gebore was. Nie eers 'n aksent nie, goed gedoen.
Thanks again for another great trip report, and I still love your intro and outro music each time that I hear it. It's like the smell of duty free, you know it means you are going travelling, even if it's virtually on a TH-cam video!

What an enjoyable fun review superb . I’m desperately trying to get mags to fly KLM to KL but she is saying Emirates after an amazing flight to and from Dubai . Copenhagen airport looks beautiful and I was informed today I’ll be out there next year for a show showing our work . Good morning Kieron! Nice to hear that you enjoyed it, we thought you would as we know you are a KLM fan. Although the quality of service on Asian and Middle Eastern Airlines is probably better we always enjoy our flights with KLM, both Short and Long Haul. Emirates to KL sounds good too, we are still waiting to get the chance to fly with them. We have avoided them purposely because we are not fans of the A380. The cabin is fantastic but the deep window makes it a challenge to film outside as we experienced on our Lufthansa A380 flight. We are happy to live in Copenhagen and can say that we do enjoy spending time in the city throughout the year. All the seasons in the city have their own charm! Lovely that you may get the chance to visit, let us know if you would like to meet for a beer while you are here, that would be fun! (If we are not out travelling). Sorry to hear that you could not provide a solution for Maro´s nail varnish dilemma, we had actually been waiting on a solution from you Kieron, HaHa!! :-D :-D Have a lovely day both of you. I really enjoy these videos. I love travelling and over the last couple of years it’s not been feasible.

You've made our Sunday yet again! 🤩. Fabulous video and informative as ever. You both look amazing and slim too, well done on the low carb diet, im not sure i could survive without my pasta and chips! Lol. Your airport looks stunning, such beautiful lighting and open walkways for people. Shame lounge was a bit short on the buffet items, I vote kfc next time ;). I feel your pain Maro with the nail varnish!! 😅. More sympathy required Maxi! 😂. I usually use No7 (UK boots store) but even that can chip! Lovely egg wrap from klm, nice of them to provide this when others do not (they should take note!). Anyway, brilliant vid guys! Keep up the hard work 😍 xx
Ps: 1) We always hold hands on take off too 💕 2) I recon Maro didn't get the wine bag. 3) Lavatory reviews/noting where they are in the airports is important, please continue doing so :). 4) that sickness bag demo was hilarious!! You wouldn't want a vast vom fest with that piddly little thing! 🤣 xx
Good morning Joe, Mark and family! Lovely to hear from you again, we hope you have had a good weekend :-D We are still on the Low Carb diet even though this was filmed last December (still very effective) but now we give ourselves some days where we eat carbs too so we have put a few kilos on since then (nothing major). We also enjoy Copenhagen Airport for the reasons you mention, they are continuously building out there and it just gets nicer and nicer - although it will never compare to an airport like Singapore Changi! The lounge buffet was a little thin indeed, this ids the reason why we have started using the other lounge next to it (they have a better food and drink selection), that lounge is called the Apartment Lounge. Unfortunately there is no KFC at Copenhagen Airport, but we have talked about going to Burger King every now and again like we used to. Maro is happy for your nail varnish tips. We do not have Boots Shops in Denmark, but we do shop there when in Asia (plenty of Boots shops) - thanks for the tip! KLM and Lufthansa both provide a complimentary drinks and snack service, we highly appreciate it! It is not just the getting of the meal or drink, more importantly it provides some activity on a flight which keeps passengers busy with something (helps time go by). Nice that you hold hands too, travel is something you must enjoy together :-D Glad you agree with the Lavatory mentions too, we got told of by another viewer for doing so ;-) (we all use the lavatory and it is important to know where if facilities are available). That was a small "Barf Bag" indeed, really reminded us of a large French Fries Fast Food Bag HeHe :-D Thank you for watching our video and for your lovely comment, you made us laugh also! have a good day and week ahead all of you! KLM is my favourite airline, fly 2 or 3 times a year to Tokyo from North East England, transiting through Schipol, always a good experience.

Lovely video. Loved the retro SAS logo. They used to fly to Bangkok and Singapore on the Boeing 747-200. Wish SAS returns to Singapore.

As far as we know Singapore Air lines flies a code-share from Copenhagen on behalf of SAS, not sure why SAS don´t fly it themselves. The Bangkok route is a code-share flown by Thai Airways! Your pronounciation of "Goedemiddag" is perfect but "Dankie" is Afrikaans I think, as the Dutch say "Dank u" or "Dank u wel".

@@TravellerYT I do not know the reason why Cityhopper park on the apron at Schiphol. But I asked KLM and awaiting their reply
I recieved information from KLM and it has to do with keeping their fleet of Embrear (exclusively for Cityhopper) as efficient as possible. It has also to do with the infrastructure of Schiphol were the gates are mostly preserved for planes like the 737 and bigger.

Heyy , Maxi and Maro i wish you guys a very early merry christmas as i be very busy this coming december working alot as it will be very full of customer's and i have to work super hard so that i can traval more work hard play hard as they always say it lol , oh my god the trolley is sooooooooooo cute haha it's a better design then singapore airport trolley , wow the airplane walkways are becoming so narrow and small wow i don't think i can fit inside the plane on the economy class haha i think i have to book business or first class haha ... lol .

Did you see how happy Maro was when she saw that huge Carlsberg beer bottle at the airport lol? :-) Maro, regarding the issue you are having with your nail colour, use OPI nail lacquer, it is the brand that is used in top nail salons but you can also buy them online or in the stores!

There they are! The extended flaps which increase the surface area of the wing for takeoff and create drag for Landing!
Related, the increased surface area allows the aircraft to fly more slowly.

Good morning Maxi n Maro ! I thoroughly enjoyed your trip report on the ERJ 190 ! I have had the plaeasure to fly on a Virgin Australia E190 from Lanceston in Tasmania (Launy) to Newcastle in NSW (Willy) which is my closest airport ,sadly VA has removed the Ejets from service and I don't think any airline in Australia uses them now.As for the wine cooler with the glasses ,I reckon you might have bought it for Maro mate as from memory on a previous report you mentioned it was Maro's birthday around that time of the year,so I am thinking birthday gift?As for the inflight service ,the standard was exceptional,out here you are lucky to get a water and a biscuit on shorthaul ! Lol , I would much rather have an extra small premium built into the airfare and be able to enjoy the likes of a wine or beer complimentary with a decent snack. The KLM complimentary service i really a good thing and we ABSOLUTELY agree with you (we always say it ourselves) that the meal and drink should just be a Premium built into the ticket, how much more extra would that cost, it seems everything is going budget nowadays, not always a good thing! The inflight meal/drink is not just about eating or drinking, it also serves as an activity on the aircraft which helps pass the time in our opinion (gives all passengers something to do). As regards the Wine Cooler with the glasses, you are right it was/is Maro´s birthday around that time, we will announce the answer in a post next weekend ;-) Thanks again for watching and for the support you give our channel! @@TravellerYT Quick reply folks I think the removal of the Embraers was to do wit rationalising and streamlining the fleet to an all 737 fleet ,backing that story up I believe they are also going to get rid of Tigerairs A320"s and replace them with Boeings as well,VA own Tigerair,Its all a matter of efficiency I think

Back in the 80´s when I (Maxi) flew between Johannesburg and Copenhagen onboard the SAS DC10 it featured this Livery, I really liked it! Barf Bag is indeed the right name (I was being sarcastic). We have had a couple of viewers who did not think that a natural thing like a lavatory should be mentioned. We have also had viewers scolding me because I am filming and Maro puts the baggage on the check-in weight (somehow they cannot understand that she is the subject... oh well!). It's funny how on some flights people clap. Apparently most pilots do not like that. I imagine clapping reaffirms everyone's relief of a safe landing and making it in one piece to their destination.

You have almost 5 hours layover in Amsterdam so 20 mins delay will be fine. I think 2hrs. 10min transfer is not enough considering delays and social distancing at security, boarding and disembarkation. I think we have to take the 7am flight from Prague and sacrifice sleep. Or take a risk, when late then overnight in Amsterdam. Maybe the plane will wait for late transfer passengers.Stay safe.

Gatwick was closed because of a drone incident last Christmas, which caused chaos. Those you launched the drones were never found. There is now technology in place to prevent this happening again. Happy travels.
