- Our Novair Airbus A321Neo Trip Report flight to Greece during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic. We were travelling with the Charter Holiday Agency Apollo Rejser who also own the airline Novair. In this video we take you with us onboard our Novair Airbus A321Neo charter flight from Copenhagen Airport (CPH) in Denmark to Aktion Airport (PVK) in Preveza, Greece via Billund Airport (BLL) in Denmark. Thr name for Aktion Airport in Greek is Αεροδρόμιο Ακτίου.
In this flight review we show you what air travel is like during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic. Airlines have to adhere to many new rules owing to the Coronavirus some of which include wearing a health mask at all times throughout the flight. In this report you will see and hear about some of the new onboard Coranavirus Rules. This Novair Trip Report includes Boarding, Taxiing, Takeoff from Copenhagen Airport, Approach to Billund Airport, Landing at Billund Airport, Taxiing at Billund Airport, Takeoff from Billund Airport, the Inflight Meal that we ordered in advance, a Novair Airbus A321Neo Lavatory Tour, a look at the Inflight Safety Card, the space around the seat and the facilities such as the Tray Table etc. One we begin to get closer to our destination, Aktion International Airport in Greece, we show you the Approach to the Airport, the landing at Aktion Airport and Taxiing to the Gate before Disembarkation which takes place on the Apron. This Novair Airbus A321Neo is part 2 of our 3 part journey from Copenhagen Airport (CPH) in Denmark to Aktion International Airport in Preveza, Greece during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic.

Another great Video glad to see that you are back on your travels again yes I agree that your executive meal did not look that good for me I dont think I could have coped without a coffee or a beer just think what this would have been like on a longer flight how long was the flight including the 1 hour stuck on the plane while you had that stop over for passengers and fuel.
Hope you managed to get a drink when you arrived at your hotel and you had a good time there.

Quite a packed flight by the look of it.I enjoyed your final approach into Preveza , the lighting from the sun was spectacular.I have decided to be with you guys in spirit so I am planning this week to do a flight in the simulator following your itinary with a couple of differences 1 It will be in a 737-800 and 2 I will be having a beer during the flight haha !!! HeHe, A flight in a simulator and then with a beer too (that is one up on us), that is without doubt the next best thing and a nice aircraft to fly with :-D The approach to Aktion Airport (Prevaza) was stunning. Those sunset colours were beautiful and as Maro mentioned while we were editing that scene, we were very lucky that the window was not dirty or scratched. Had it been then it would have been impossible to film! We never ever take our flights for granted, as you mention yourself, our generations have been so lucky to be able to get to almost any point in the world at a reasonable price. It was priceless to see the look in Maro's eyes when she realized there was no alcohol on board! On the other hand some of the measurement to reduce China Virus spread, don't make sense. No alcohol but you can sit like in a cage with no distancing to other passengers. That don't make sense to me.

We do not think that the limited space for a charter holiday airline on a short-haul route is limited to this airline - we would imagine that it applies to all Charter Carriers (Maximum people = maximum profit). Maxi is over 6ft so in most cases legroom is limited and let us not even talk about when the seat infront is reclined... Thanks again for watching and for sharing your opinion :-D

Hello you two! Nice to meet you on a plane again. Laughed out loud at mentioning to remove the mask before barfing 🤣 Good observation!
The snackpack was quite overpriced for what it contained. The non existent inflight service is a huge dissapointment as even soft drinks or coffee and tea were not served. It is important to keep hydrated during a flight. As you mentioned the airline should have made a preflight announcement via email or even at the airport so you are prepared.
I have seen your photographs of your stay in Parga and know you enjoyed Greece very much. Would you consider to visit Greece again? (Perhaps not with this particular airline😉)
Hi there, nice hearing from you again Tigress! Happy to hear that you could understand our corny humor about "Barfing" and forgetting to take the mask off. The snackpack was indeed (in our opinion) overpriced and the bun was a poor quality. We were not informed beforehand (at least we do not recall being informed) that there was no serving onboard so luckily we ordered the snackpack. Poor passengers who had not bought something with them to drink (yes, we are always told to stay hydrated when flying). All in all this was not a bad airline and we were both happy and grateful to be flying again! Parga was fantastic and we will be uploading some videos from there in the near future. We would return to Greece but would probably try to fly with a normal commercial airline next time (it was difficult to find routes and expensive to fly, with normal carriers to Greece when we booked. So this is the situation on board! Thought there will be social distance on seats! But it seems more easy than I have seen on news!
Hi there and thanks for watching. We also thought that there would be spaces between seats. The mask is probably what stopped that from happening. In a way that is a good thing as flying with half empty aircraft cannot be profitable for any airline. Wearing a mask was not a problem but it must not be the new future of flight! Great report and with music superb lol . Thought it was a nice trip to be fair in tough times . Food was poor but nothing that I wouldn’t have expected if honest . One thing which is shocking is not even a drinks service and to me there is no excuse Covid or not that’s poor . We’re all entitled to water at least and not to be able to purchase a drink is inexcusable in my opinion . But the airline seems decent and a nice flight . Those masks look like what we have bought for our trip . We actually swapped flights yesterday and now going to Portugal the algarve 2 weeks today for 7 days holiday . Loved this report cheers 🥂
Good to hear and that you noticed that the music intro was there :-D The trip was fine and so is the airline. The onboard service was not good especially because we had not been informed that we would not be able to by at least a water onboard, luckily we ordered the snack pack. It seems that some other airlines do serve snacks and drinks, so the Coronavirus Air Travel Rules are perhaps defined by the airline itself or perhaps the rules are different according to what country the airline is based in. Legroom was not good either but is probably to be expected on a charter airline flying short-haul. On Long-haul charter flights to eg. Thailand we have had enough legroom. The masks are fine and we are now using that type on a daily bases when we go to work . the wearing of masks is now compulsory on Danish Public Transport. Fantastic to hear that you are off to Algarve, we have never been there but the pics and vids we have seen from there are beautiful. It must be such a good feeling to be able to travel again. Hope we're allowed soon as the waiting is killing me! The lunch packs were disappointing for the money. It was an amazing feeling Danielle, we were honestly both so thrilled both for being able to fly and for being able to visit Greece. We really hope that travel will return to normal for everybody soon!! The lunch packs were not good considering the price we paid for them, definitely room for improvement there (it was worth on the return trip) and normal meal services had better return as this is not the way to go. We were lucky that we were able to have a full holiday in Greece and got to film the flight and some of the destination as borders and quarantines are once again coming into action for some countries. Thanks for watching our video Lawrence, we hope you enjoyed it! Africa is without doubt on our list of continents to visit. Not sure if you know it or not but Maxi was born and grew up in South Africa, and has not visited for many years. Therefore first on the list in Africa will be a trip to SA, but, if an offer to film in and promote Ghana came along, we would be interested yo visit! With nonexistent leg room all you need is the person in front to recline their seat; no inflight entertainment; no beer for Mara and screaming kids 👎👎👎👎 What a rip off for the cost of the snack pack with nothing much in the bun and the inability to purchase anything on board not even water all under the disguise of health and safety unbelievable! I agree that it’s good to see you both flying again and it’s great that you can rely on the trusty pulsar 😂 😂 view of the sunset on landing was fantastic I can’t wait to fly again; stay safe❤️
Hello again Silver Fox! Thanks for watching our video and for sharing your opinion of our flight - we agree with many of your points. We have seen on other TH-cam videos that some airlines do serve snacks and drinks so we imagine that coronavirus rules are individually defined by airlines or defined according to what country they are based in... All in all the airline was fine and even though there was no legroom that was bearable considering it was a Short-haul - we were both just happy and grateful to be flying again :-D We hope that travel will open up for everybody as soon as possible! I watched the Aktion Arrival Video before this one, only realized afterwards that I missed this report, so watching these a bit out of sequence.
The masks make it look like you are going to a surgeon's conference in Greece. That being said, my wife's cousin often goes from the UK to Greece for medical conferences, well, they did in 2019 last, nothing since because of corona.
No beer on a flight is a travesty, I feel with Maro here! Snack pack was expensive, almost cheaper to buy snacks in the airport before you depart! They should have prepackaged coffee/tea that they just warm up, should still be hygienic enough, I think. Agree with Maxi about being happy about flying, even without the beer, bloody mary or coffee.
Was the city Split or Dubrovnik... although that's Croatia, not Sarajevo?
As an AvGeek, it is heartsore to see all those aircraft standing around, they should be in the air where they belong.
You are welcome Douglas, thank you for watching! It looks like European travel is again opening this summer and the rules onboard the aircraft sound similar to last year. This year we at least know what to expect and can come prepared with our own sandwich and drinks (no alcohol allowed). Have a good Sunday and take care :-D

We have actually talked about Croatia but if we are allowed to travel this summer we will more than likely go back to Parga, Greece. In these dull and awful corona times, when we can finally go on a holiday, we want to go to a place that we are 100% sure we like! Regarding drinks, we are not sure why they are not served either! LOL via Billund? It costs a lot for an airline to fly a short hop like that. 20 minutes to Billund I guess.
Thanks for watching our video. We were also wondering what that extra stop cost and whether or not it was profitable. Surely it is as the airline or travel agency are not in business to loose money? Anyway, we did not mind as it gave us an extra takeoff and landing - a real treat when we have not been able to fly for so long :-D Have a good day!

As you said, not normal service, but not normal times! This is only a pipe dream to us down here in Melbourne at the moment, with stage 4 lockdown (nightly curfews, only allowed out within 5kms of home to shop & excercise - permit required if you need to travel to work...), and state borders closed! Bring on 2021/2022.....
Yes and agreed! As you heard us say multiple times throughout the video we were both just extremely grateful to be in the air again. We hope that travel conditions and Day-to-day living conditions (freedoms that we all probably used to take for granted) will return again in the foreseeable future for everyone! We are following the Australian Lockdown rules on the news and they are indeed hardcore! We hope that they are effective and will help bring a better 2021 for you all. Despite the trip only being a Short-haul the stop at Billund was fun as it gave us an extra landing and takeoff, even more appreciated when we have not flown for so long. Yes, flying has changed on account of Coronavirus Rules and one could sometimes think that savings are made here and there on account of the Coronavirus ;-). We have heard that drinks have been served on other airlines but maybe rules are different from EU country to EU country. Whatever the answer let´s hope that flying conditions get back to normal again in the foreseeable future.
