This is really going to help me because I’ve always wanted a reborn but I never really find one I like so I’m going to be painting my first reborn and this will be my first time having one So I am really excited but I do have a question where can I get that paint from?
It's one reason I love reborning is making my own babies! I buy paints from Bountiful Baby and Irresistables
Any suggestions on matte finish paints ? Because mines when done looks sooo blotchy and uneven
I use Genesis Heat Set Matte Varnish either from Bountiful Baby or Irresistables
Using this paint do you have to use a heatwave oven
Hey! Thanks so much for this video. I am hoping to paint some silicone hands for an art piece and since i can't easily find a dark olive skin tone, i want to know how to paint it on- as well as details like veins and things. Can you or anyone that sees and does reborns tell me- how long will the paint stay on, and how long if handled? I know silicone is slippery and hard to actually get anything to adhere to. Thanks so much
Hi there! I’m following your biracial reborn painting tutorial videos. I was wondering if you do shading on biracial dolls? What colors do you use for shading?
Hi! Yes I do shading on biracial dolls, for the libs I basically put shading where the blushing is and some deeper creases, and the head mainly the scalp area to box off the forehead. I'm gonna have to make a separate video on it in the future since it kinda slipped my mind while making this doll. As far as colors go I basically use the same as the skin except I'll darken it with some blue, purple, maybe some black, and more brow brown, but you always wanna stick to your tone whether it be cool or warm; if warm I add more red/brown red rather than blues. I hope this helps
My paint is always running. How do you thicken your paint? I love your videos btw!
You want thin paint! Building in thin layers will look better than thick paint layers. However, if I find my paint is too loose in consistency for its need such as veins, creases, eyebrows I just add a little paint and keep mixing to right consistency. there are mixing mediums you can purchase which some use to thin out paint without it being liquid

Hi! Yes there is one last part to this series specifically and more parts to come with my Caucasian painting series as well which include more basic things like finer details. I’m still working on the editing and voiceover for the final part, I’ve been working crazy busy hours recently but I promise there is more to come😊

What do you do for the lips?
Like for the color not the creases.

Do you know a good website to get reborn kits?
I use irresistables a lot but sometimes bountiful baby or macphersons
when painting biracial baby do i neutralize
Depending on the kit and if you feel the vinyl is at a good starting color for you to paint.
