Oil Light Flashing What does that mean?

- The oil light flashing on the car is a result of low oil pressure. The reason is low engine oil, using wrong viscosity engine oil, partly clogged oil pan, failing oil pump, or faulty oil pressure switch.

Meanwhile I'm having a serious issue with my 2009 Lexus ES 350 and I'd like you to help. I woke up today, pushed start my car and the oil light didn't show on the panel.
I'm having my engine oil to its normal level and the oil pressure switch looks okay underneath.
I'd like to ask, what will be the cause of my cars engine oil light not coming up before start.
You said you pushed start your car does this mean the battery is dead?

When the engine speed is at 2000 rpm the discharge pressure should be approximately no more than 3 kg/cm^2, then as the engine speed increase to more than 2000 rpm, the discharge pressure should remain the same at approximately 3 kg/cm^2.
When I’m driving my oil pressure light will flash on and off IF I start to lower speeds (hit the brake) when I step on the gas it goes away. When idle it will sometimes flash on and off or stay solid. I have oil is it the sensor?

Check the engine oil level on the dipstick if it's below minimum then add oil.
When I’m driving and rev my rpm’s to high the oil light will come on blinking.but when in idle it doesn’t come I’m and I always use the correct oil and there is no white smoke. Any help?

My golf tdi oil light flashed for a few seconds when I started moving in first gear but only when I didn’t rev to or above 1000 rpm’s. When I increase rpm’s it goes off. It only
popped up twice for a few seconds, any thoughts?

@@RockStar-dl2hp we’re still working on it. I replaced my oil pressure sensor and it still comes on. We’re installing oil pressure gauges to see if there is actually a problem

@@RockStar-dl2hp that’s what I’m going to do if the gauges say something’s wrong. All I can tell is what the light says but the light can definitely just be from a dirty sensor

Hi, I realized that I poured too much oil, exceeding maximum, when I check the deep stick, it is three times to normal, now the oil light is flashing and the (Check engine sign/symbol) is on. I don't know if I reduce oil to normal, (will the 2 lights go off)?
When oil is overfilled, it is stirred in the oil pan, and bubbles are generated, the bubbles spill over from the oil level gauge and the oil pump cannot suck enough oil, and this causes the engine to seize up. Keep the oil within the normal range.
Disclaimer * if you own a bmw you can’t check the oil level.

Check the oil pump. Also, possibly a partially clogged oil pan or oil with wrong viscosity is used, conduct change oil.

I just had my oil changed because the genie oil thing it looks like a genie bottle like it was blinking and it wouldn't stop timing and I took it to get an oil change it was fine my oil was great but I had it changed and it was still doing it the guy said that it's my oil sensor switch is there a way to undo the timing of that oil light because the timing is killing me and I won't be able to get it fixed until after the holidays is there a way to stop the charming on the dashboard

Its possible that the oil pan is partially clogged. Do engine flashing and change oil. Also we have video here on how to check if there is problem with the pressure switch.

When the ignition is turned On the oil light comes on, but after the engine is started the oil light will comes off, this is normal.
I got 2000 expedition when I start the engine the light oil pressure sensor light on! It doesn’t go off until I run about 2kilometer and then all of a sudden drops again. What the cause? But oil is good I check it everyday.

@@RockStar-dl2hpeither my oil sender switch is defective or there is a wire short but once auto goes from idle to the carlrunning the light goes out .. I have oil and I change the oil regular when it's time ..

Is the light flashing or sometimes on sometimes off or steadily on? Is the oil level within the normal range?

it all started by the time I put a new oil pump, is it possible that an oil pump can be fitted wrong?
