    Up coming patch this Wednesday 29th , should address the Tritium market as well as issues with mining . time will tell how well it runs but fingers crossed the Tritium problems will be over.

    all they had to do is lower the price of the ltds by like 400k

    //Log start//
    Captains Log,
    Day 16 since the collapse:
    Humanity has fallen. The entire galactic economy has crashed. Whereas we tried to stick together once and progress humanity towards the next era, now the entire bubble is just a free-for-all zone. From what I am able to piece together humanities main mining extraction sites have dried up completely all at the same time. How this could happen on a galactic scale I have no idea, but this is our universe now. As expected, after the extraction sites quit sending in the goods, every single mining station in the bubble turned into a frenzy.
    Hundreds of thousands of people flocked to the few stations that held materials. In the fervor for materials, the huge mobs of desperate people ended up resulting in the brutal killing of many innocent people just trying to get what supplies they could. Women, children, and men all equally killed by their fellow man. These stations are now vacant, filled with nothing but bodies.
    Many sought to escape the incoming rapture in their own personal carrier. However these souls are faced with an even more terrifying situation than the rest of us. The carriers that tried to escape the Bubble are now stranded in deep space. Since they are no longer able to find tritium in deep space, and because of the fact that tritium is no longer present in any way whatsoever within 10,000 lightyears of the Bubble, those commanders are doomed to float away into the darkness of the galaxy for eternity.
    Perhaps they will one day in the far future arrive at a better place than the rest of our species, for I feel we are entering into the darkest time.
    May God help us all.
    //End of log//

    pretty sure fdev intended to leave all the fc stranded to make a few thousand mini-jaques. its like their only trick

    They've definitely got test servers because they recently tested fleet carriers on them, didn't they?

    Disregarding the economy, it would make sense that mining and exploration would naturally be thousands of times more lucrative than bounty hunting/ combat in general

    • @steveroberts6302
      @steveroberts6302 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm fairly new to the game. My 1st real task was to spend a couple of weeks outside the bubble doing exploration.
      For that I gained around 400m credits.
      Then I look on TH-cam and see loads of videos telling me how to make that much in an hour.
      It doesn't seem very balanced to me.

    • @BespinGuard1
      @BespinGuard1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@steveroberts6302 but now you can barely find anything in hotspots, i still think that exploration and mining should be the most lucrative ways of earning money.
      If mining isn't "realistic" with its pay people will complain ofc
      If exploration has the same problem the same thing will happen
      Bounty hunting is what's talked about the most tho because it's basically useless

    I am finding a lot of tritium. I just core mine. Seems to be ok. People reporting more cores.

    • @Projectsign1
      @Projectsign1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      After over an hour of mining I found only 4 cores. 2 LTD's and 2 Bromite. Thats it.

  • @enesyetis6108
    @enesyetis6108 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I just logged in and tried mining in 3x ltd hotspot but there was no ltd at all. I got only 35 tons of ltd in like 3 hours. They messed up. This sucks.

    • @StewiePlaysPC
      @StewiePlaysPC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It feels to me like they did not bother to test this at all, even one person mining for 2-3 hours would of shown them the real affect with out upsetting all of the players by doing a blind update to the live servers.

    Some of this is obviously unintentional. You’ve got Ltd spots full of tritium and tritium spots full of bromelite. They made a coding error somewhere. The question is how long will it take to fix it.

    If you're having trouble finding Tritium to mine in your favorite spots. Maybe you need to find some new favorite spots. Because everywhere I've launched a limpet in the last month plus has been tritium so thick I can't sneeze without it spraying 3 or more rocks reading 10% or more.
    The trouble with Tritium mining has nothing to do with availability. There is PLENTY of tritium to be mined. The trouble with Tritium is that it's not worth a crap compared to mining LTD's, Void Opals, Painite, Alexandrite, Grandidierite. Or any of who knows how many other possible choices. Why waste time mining Tritium when there are so many other things that pay 10x or more per ton? You won't see a single brag about anyone making ANYTHING from mining Tritium. But there's plenty of brags about hundreds of millions made BUYING Tritium at some station then carting it to a nearby FC. Often in the same system
    LTD's, Void Opals, and now Painite got nerfed because folks found an exploit but were not smart enough to keep their stupid @$$ mouths shut about it. How many brags are posted in the facebook ED group(s) of the hundreds of millions made in an hour or less? How many youtube videos are there bragging about hundreds of million per hour? Plus all the tutorials claiming to show how just anyone can do it ever so easily.
    You think the FDev's don't see that crap?
    They probably wouldn't much care. Except NEW PLAYERS see those brags and watch those videos and follow those tutorials. And proceed to head off to the nearest icy or rocky ring in a stock Sidewinder. or Adder, maybe a Cobra. Thinking they got it going on and headed for easy street. Only to find on arrival that they don't have the equipment needed. And they don't have the Cr to buy the equipment needed. If they do have the equipment, they probably don't know how to use it. Just because that rock glows yellow, or orange, or red, does not mean it contains anything of value.
    They get to the asteroid fields and find they can't make the hundreds of millions per hour promised by the tutorials. If they get discouraged and quit, that hurts Frontier's bottom line. Dev's are gonna notice that. Dev's are gonna do something about that and you can safely bet that YOU are probably not going to like it.
    No, mining is FAR from being dead. You can still make more mining than you can make doing anything else in ED. But you will have to start working for it. Keep going with the trash talk and brags and they may do away with hot spots entirely.

      You do understand that this video is almost 3 months old and covered an alteration that Fdev made to mining and had to correct due to the massive impact it had in stranding fleet carriers in deep space ?? this had an ongoing impact that lasted weeks .
      And yes i do hope Fdev see all videos that cover broken game play or outright exploits so that it can be fixed / removed.
      I am honestly failing to see the "trash talk" this video was commenting on the impact of an update that at the time severely impacted the vast majority of players that had spent billions of credits and hundreds of hours of game play. Players were left with billions sunk into fleet carriers that they were unable to move , meany players sold the carriers others left them alone until the problem was addressed weeks later. The player led deep space array was left stranded with people having to resort to suicide run tritium from the bubble to stranded carriers self destructing after delivering to save hours/days of jumping back into the bubble.
      The patch was widely accepted as not well planed and Fdev acknowledged that the impact it had on tritium was completely unexpected and had a lasting detrimental affect on players affected by this .

    If the quantity is only 25% of what it used to be, wouldnt the $ skyrocket? #immersion . Shouldve been stuck with this nerf for that day. Honestly once you see what you can make mining the normal way, the rest of the game became pointless.

      quote:"Honestly once you see what you can make mining the normal way, the rest of the game became pointless.
      "
      nope, that is not true, it is not everyones thing to mine an asteroid field. some of us prefer bounty hunting, or wanna trade, even piracy, but it is all broken, that was a shotgun-shell into our faces.
