I have an auto repair shop, but I still use these everyday when doing suspension work. Instead of having to guess and compress the suspension with a jack, or move the vehicle to the four post, I just lower it on these, and then torque all the bolts to spec no hassle.
Best money I've spent.
Looks like you could put that pad carpet side down (hard plastic side up) when u expect any liquid messes or grease/grime falling.

Pretty cool 😎 the fact that they're light weight is nice. One time my jack stand went straight through the floor of the car. Over time the spot welds on the jack points actually gave up. I no longer use any type of jack stands. This looks promising
Oh man that’s scary for sure. Yeah this would take away that issue and if you need to work on suspension you can just put a jack stand under that one corner to make it much safer.
@@BlakesGarage yes absolutely! I use a spare wheel as my safety. The more surface area secured the better. The fact that these won't gouge anything metal is a win for sure

Definitely want to lift the front first on lowered cars.

Great video! I have the 12” cribs coming next week. Question: If you jacked it up from the center front jack point, would the Daytona jack lift it high enough to put the 12” cribs under the front tires? Thanks

I need these
Use that mat the way it is, but put cardboard on top of it to catch drips and also provide some sliding function.
I use cardboard a lot as a "pad/slide" when under the car... and sometimes next to it.

Yeah, I mean that’s basically what they are. I just don’t use the second half because they’re usually two piece.
Pad is also nice for us folks up North. Ground be freezing right now. Pad makes it nice and comfy.

How would you jack up the other side? It will be lower and jack wont for underneath. Trying to figure out a way to jack it enough to do a 4 wheel alignment
definitely go front then back, this sideways lift in this video made me really shake my head, theyre off kilter, cant do teh other side now, not safe IMO
@@bryansmethers8936 yea, dude doesn't quite understand what he did in the vid. Several ways to do it but if you were to do one side at a time you'd want either 2x4's or shorter ramps under one side first, then add cradle's to opposite side then repeat.

It’s the Daytona one that is the most expensive. It’s an amazing Jack highly recommended.

why dont you get quick jack?
$1000+ for that’s setup. This is a fraction of that. Way lighter and more portable. Quick jacks also take a lot of room have to pull them out plug it in every time you want to use them.

the cribs have divots. the car cant roll

Hi! I would like to buy 4x Race Ramps Wheel Cribs too to work on my Toyota GT86.
Which height would you recommend?
I was thinking about the 10" version as a sweet spot between too low (8") and too difficult to get the car on (12")?
Personally I would get the highest ones possible that way you get the most ground clearance but I mean it’s up to you honestly
