Foul & Humous in Dubai is OK, I think last time I went to the one in Al Barsha, however...if you visit Saudi Arabia, there are foul shops everywhere. The key here is the bread, they have bakers from Bukhara and, many different types, usually next door to the foul shop. Cheap and delicious. You won't understand unless you taste it. Dubai/Saudi has all the food shops the UK or US has, but also other things too. If you know, you know.

As an Asian, I totally understand eating food this way. You eat with your flatbread and fingers. Westerns eat KFC, chips, burgers and crisps with their hands and complain when we do it. The hell? ☹️

U can't consider this food street food in Dubai, because hummus, falafel, fava beans in this recipe r native Palestinian, and the people of Dubai don't make these kind of meals

There is an Indian grocery store near me that does this. Throughout the pandemic until now they have a sign saying, "Anyone in financial hardship will recieve a free meal."
I've had a job since before and all throughout the pandemic but I choose to buy food there to support them because they help the needy.
The name of their shop of all things is 'Hey dhal' 😄
They also do a daily raffle. Each customer can enter the raffle by writing their name and number on the back of their receipt and placing it in a box, each day the first customer has the honour of selecting a ticket from the box and the winner gets up to the value of the amount on the receipt.
So the person whose details are on the receipt is the winner not the person drawing the ticket.
