Replacing a Window Regulator (2007 Chevy Aveo)

I do a bit of mechanical work on the side as a hobby and for extra cash. Today, I had a neighbor ask me to replace a window motor and regulator for their 2007 Chevrolet (Chevy) Aveo.
It's a bit of an older model, but most of these older pre-2010 GM cars have a very similar regulator set up, so the process should apply to a bunch of different cars.
Got the window regulator part on eBay in brand-new condition for around $80.

Glad it helped man! Yeah these cars are hard to find guides for, bc they didn't make many. I hear a lot of the repairs for the Aveo are very similar or the same for the Chevy Cobalt

used your technique as well as HIS on my 07 ...
you need to let us know *TO REMOVE THE ORANGE TAB in the new MOTOR* and i was afraid i purchased the wrong rear window one , thank you for showing us all its the way to go.
