    Great work, good job. I've been doing roasted bell pepper sauces but never used it for jollof like you did but then, why would you put in fresh tomatoes 5 minutes to the end of cooking?? Did it not get mushy?? Did it not taste fresh?? Why did you not use other veggies like carrots and bell peppers that have less water and will still hold their shape??

    I'm just curious to know, was your rice parboiled before u poured it. Or u just wash normal and pour into the mixed sauce

    • @Ifyskitchen
      @Ifyskitchen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just washed. Not parboiled.

    I'm really going to try this method. But I have a question
    If you don't have an oven, what else can be used to roast the peppers?

    • @Ifyskitchen
      @Ifyskitchen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Airfryer, halogen oven, micro wave

    • @preciousjewel9389
      @preciousjewel9389 ปีที่แล้ว

      What if those equipments are not there either? Does it mean we do not get to cook jollof rice 🤔

      @@Ifyskitchen then you need to tell us how we'd get the rice soft because with the way the rice is mixed with the stew when added, it starts to burn as soon as the pot is covered

    • @j.r09160
      @j.r09160 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nekaihenacho1501 if your rice is burning then your heat is up too high or you dont have enough liquids in there
