Just seen this, and got a shock of my life!! Bi Kidude??? Ive checked all her iconnic music. Wow! Mungu ni mwema. Thats not just any "old woman " ..apparently, the photographer has no idea who she really is. She is a treasure.
La visitai 25 anni fa ed è proprio come la ricordavo, quasi incontaminata, persone cordiali e sorridenti, bambini ovunque ai quali lasciai le mie magliette di cotone, lo zainetto, delle penne per la scuola
@shezapearl This video is wonderful and reminds me of my trip there 9 months ago for my daughter’s birthday. It was a trip of a lifetime. The calm atmosphere with friendly and inquisitive people, the beaches, snorkeling, the markets, the food, swimming with the turtles, visiting the spice farms was an exhilarating adventure. I also visited the areas of enslavement , since I am a woman of color, who wanted to include the historical context in my visit. Thanks for sharing your Zanzibar experience 😄❤
I love your video. Its breath taking scenes. Lovely Island of Zanzibar. So colourful people. Thank God you both were alright. Lovely to see the welcoming party of friendly children and adults. I didn't get the 2nd place you went to. What was it?One day God willing I'd like to visit. I am from Nairobi, Kenya. Now reside in North America.
The Island of Tanzania, where FREDDIE MERCURY was born! More precisely, FARROKH BULSARA (birth name of the future lead singer of the Progressive Rock band "THE QUEEN", was born in "STONE TOWN", the oldest part of the Island of ZANZIBAR! Our beloved Freddie Mercury was African, and was born in one of the countries considered the CRADLE OF HUMANITY, of which OLDOVAI GORE is a witness ❤
Freddie Mercury was not African as he was Iranian. He may have been born there but his Iranian parents moved away from Africa when Africans were hostile to Asians and Europeans.
I DID SEE AND PHOTOGRAPHED IN wINTER 2015 OR 2017 ON zANZIBAR kiwengwa A VERY SIMILAR mACHINE flying ; Orange SAIL/wing tho. is that RICHARD TOO ? contact ?
Yes Matthias won the trust of the girls and was able to photograph them but I find this unlawful still because since they are all under-age he needed the consent of their parents before using their pictures. And he knows that he can only do this in Africa!! Stop exploiting our children. I am very sure you cannot do this in Germany.
I do love them ! But this isn’t a picture I got from very recently traveling friends and honest TH-camrs … or do have to listen to your documentary because it’s reminds us old BBC ….
Zanzibar is a muslim country annexed by Christian terrorist Tanzania. They are close relation with Oman Sultanate rulers. Muslim should help these people by all means necessary.
Zanzibar is in eastern sub-Saharan Africa! Algeria is located in the so-called "White Africa" or North Africa, bathed by the Mediterranean Sea! Zanzibar is bathed by the Indian Ocean, on the east coast of Africa! What's wrong with you? Read the transcript of the documentary, if you don't understand spoken English!
He is not a positive filim photographer, but a spy and abuser. He is taking photos od dirty areas and poor old people. Look how he is chasing the old woman. He also photographed a young man who was pulling a cart who soaked with dust. This is not a good man.
Zanzibar is a beautiful location in pictures, but has been completely ruined by tourism. The foreigners there, play there music loud all night, disturbing the locals. They have no interest in learning about local culture, they just want to drink, play their rubbish boom boom music all night, and cause inflation.
Islamic poverty as usual as each man expected to have four wives with each wife producing four children so allowing 16 children for every man so will there be enough room and food on that island for everyone till they are 102 years old?
This is selfish thinking, there has always been enough room and food for everyone. It's only Allah who provide, and Zanzibarians have always put their trust on him
99%of Muslims have one wife, even though it is better to have 4 legal wives than one legal and many illegal which is almost became tradition in the west I live in US ,every second marriage in the western countries is unsuccessful ,however you don't have reason to hate Muslims other than propganda you watch on tv

Zanzibar was united with Tanganyika in 1964 to form the united Republic of Tanzania

Total nonsense. What’s wrong with you bitter reverse-racists?

This shows how muslims are tolerant and happy people they are.
Does he cotribute any thing back to the people and country after exploiting free content for sae?
If he was a good photographer he would not want posed photos to his advantage. COLONIZERS attitude!
Ridiculous, racist comment.
