excuse me! That is not an overexposed photo. It is a well edited photo with over pushed adjustment then reverse. You tell me what camera shoots the sky and the shadow this small dynamic range and output "cyan sky/pants colour grading/orange sat skin", and I will buy the camera.
Exactly 💯
Yes😂😂
Oh my gosh. I’m a digital painter and these settings are an absolute game changer. Thank you so much for this tutorial!
how can I darken a specific spot in a photo. I have a photo that one side of my face is completely white because the sun was so bright, how do I fix that?
Not with this video tutorial.
Not with this video tutorial.
you can use the adjustment brush tool in the camera raw filter or just create exposure curves or levels adjustment layers. Just mask the part you want to fix.
Color range> highlights ..Select>feather.. Select>invert selection.. Adjustment layer>Levels..darken the bright area..
Change “Levels “layer opacity if needed..
Change “Levels “ layer mode to overlay or multiply if needed..
Super quick and to the point. Really great stuff. Thanks a ton, mate.
Thank you for this video
I just noticed the folklore sweater!! 😭😭
Dope, quick tutorial with good info. Thank you!
Sadly, my most recent photoshoot I accidentally WAYYYY overexposed some pics of my girl (WHICH WERE SUPER CUTE) and Lightroom can't help me 😭
Thank you, I thought this option only comes up when I upload pictures from my Canon but now you showed it can be equipped with any picture from any source... Great stuff!
Don't have camera raw filter in my photoshop
this was super helpful and helped me revive very valuable photos through your tips from this video :D
Thank you
You're wearing the folklore shirt
I can't find: Camera Raw Filter.. usign Windows btw.
Should I fix the overexposed photo first before retouching the face?
I would always recommend fixing the exposure before you do anything else to your photo. Getting your exposure right is usually the first step to photo editing. In my opinion
Does it work on samsung
Wish this was chaptered. I know it's quick, but helps your algorithm and people like me who hate intros.
Jpeg or raw footage
thannx bro
thank you
camera raw filter not found
okay downloaded adobe camera raw plugin, then restarted the photoshop and its working
Fake
How about if i use jpeg?
Not happening
I didn't know we can find raw style filter even i use Photoshop for work...this is amazing and solve my answers
how to I fix overexposure in a certain area not the whole photo
Use layers and masks!
That way you can only edit the spots you need to get fix.
I don't have photoshop I use snapseed as I don't have a laptop or pc to run these bigger programs.. I did a portrait shoot last night and some of my images looked so over exsposed.. I'm gaining quite a bit of experience now I've done about 6 or 7 family shoots.. But I'm still keen to learn more.. Don't yet have a off camera flash I know that will come in very handy in bright situations as I understand it'll help counter that harsh light? But thank you for your advice I was a little bumped after my shoot as I did do the tings I was taught by a very experienced photographer.. But I'm thrilled I can fix them in post😊🙏
Want to know how to fix Overexposed photos in Photoshop..... Don't do it in Lightroom for your sanity😭
what if only the bottom part is over exposed ?
Is it free bro?
Humm. Didn't work for me at all. All it did was get darker of whiter as I moved the sliders. Does the duplicate layer has to have an adjustmet layer applied or changed to overlay or something?!
ofc it will not work. He overexposed the photo intentionally and use it as a sample of how to fix the overexposed photo. so what he did is just turn it into original image
Yea, no way he recovered that detail in the video if it was overexposed in the first place. White is white. Ain’t no way coming back from it. “Feaver” is a good indicator…
very helpful. Thank you :)
Nice little trick. Thank you.
I took a lot of picture in Israel with a Canon G5 in 2005. The pics were beautiful in the camera display. When I got home, every single one was overexposed. Even the pro photographers who loaned me the camera and were with me on that trip said there was nothing I could do to fix "overexposed". Your video tells me I can... Thank you.
Thank you!
Do you have a tutorial for photo shop apps on phone?
Life saver! Fiance had a shoot in a less than ideal area with a light over head and everything came out overexposed!

this is great. i've been doing photoshop casually for years now but never noticed this feature
Thank you for the help!
nice
Thank you so much. This was so helpful & straight to the point.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Camera raw grayed out, when I clicked on smart filters, Camera Raw came up but essentially it put a clear screen above the image and that's what came up to edit, you couldn't see the image at all, just the gray clear photoshop screen?
Apparently you can open up non-raw files in Camera Raw by opening them in Adobe Bridge. When you click on the image you want to open, there's a camera shutter icon at the top of the screen that you can click on to open the file in Camera Raw.
*good job bro*
Good video. Thx
