Sadly since the democrats, who have control of the government, are somehow helpless to fight the mobilization on the right against voting rights, it is likely that the Democrats will not hold any majorities or the presidency again for the foreseeable future. It looks like even if the widespread voter suppression doesn’t do the job, they have the utilities in place to overturn elections including the presidency.

I've confronted people on baseless conspiracy theories before but it feels a lot easier due to it not being released as a video interview. I feel like that part makes it 100 times as awkward. In medicine, when checking a patient’s mental status and alertness we ask patients 4 questions to determine if they are alert and oriented x 4 (AOx4): person, place, time, and event. For time, I always ask “who is the current president?” This is because it can be hard to remember the date or day of the week. If someone couldn’t tell me who the president was I’d be majorly concerned for their cognitive capacity and mental status. But, in this case, and in all these interviews, I think it’s a valid concern and delusional disorder would be high on my differential diagnosis.
After instantly confirming with your gut check that you are dealing with either an extremely dishonest or highly delusional person, you still managed to go 25 minutes with him. True "Patriot"...

Well David Sir, I'll give the guy credit - he believes it. He's not a grifter, I think he was totally honest with you in that interview.

I have a lot of issues with Pakman, especially recently, but this was actually a great interview. Very tactful, and politely poked holes in his conspiracies, and maintained a level of logic across the board.

My issues with Pakman are not necessarily specific to him. He’s not much different from other specialized political pundits like Rachel Maddow, Sean Hannity, Sam Seder, Ben Shapiro, etc.

I was involved with the first voting machines in our county in Virginia. Our department was responsible for the integrity of the machines and I can say unequivocally that these machines cannot be easily manipulated, if at all. The data is verified by the voter registrations. This guy is crazy.
Nobody would be allowed to fuck with the machines outside of the instructions they were given and the training. at no point is a poll worker plugging anything into the machine, opening it up, tampering with it at all. everything us done very publicly with many witnesses all around. If I'm volunteering for an election, I would report anyone tampering even if it helped my interests in the outcome.

Whilst a nice quote, it’s not true is it? Those who tolerate evil are bad, but to take the responsibility away from the people committing evil is just silly. Those committing evil are the biggest danger.

I think this guy believes it. I know people who do. As long as there is a POSSIBILITY Trump was cheated, then, if he lost, he was de facto "cheated". To them, this axiom itself is "proof." It's cult-think plain and simple: the leader must never be wrong, and the leader must never lose. Anyone who appears to have beaten him must prove a negative ( there was no fraud) , and, of course, this cannot be done. Delusion loop complete.
