The most disturbing statement from this guy was when he said he wanted "only in-person, one day" voting. That would seriously reduce voter participation. That is the republican way---make it harder to vote, voter suppression.

If that’s what they want, then voting day should be a national holiday like what they do in my country. And places like grocery stores, hospitals etc are mandated by law to have staff on rotation so everyone can vote and polls close at midnight, just invader your boss was an asshole.
The only thing about this guys is that it essentially works this way in other countries, which include having compulsory voting. Yes, you can put in an absentee vote, but beyond that all voting is done on paper, in person and on one day. It’s exactly how we do this in Australia.
Having compulsory voting actually does ensure that the will of the people are counted. Where you don’t have compulsory voting you end up with a system that can result in a skewed result on the basis that not all people actually expressed their wishes politically.
Maybe in the longer term, the notion of compulsory voting is something the US needs to consider embracing. That and getting rid of the electoral college system which is plainly disproportional to the actual peoples vote.😮

I’m glad that David mentioned cases where there were people who voted by absentee ballot but died before election day. My brother was very ill with Cancer in 2020. He was bedridden, but was determined to vote, so he sent in his absentee valid in plenty of time to get it in before election day. He was so determined to live long enough to see Joe Biden win. It was heartbreaking for us to know that his vote was thrown out because he died only hours before the polls closed on election day. (I personally believe that in cases such as this, when living people placed their vote, it should be counted even if they die before election day.)

As an election poll worker there should always be a paper ballot, we conduct an audit after the election to confirm the results. In my state you can not request more than one absentee ballot, and you have to fill out the request online where you verify your information.
No matter how many times they say that there's a million ways to cheat, the facts are that there was no massive fraud.

What cracks me up is that the 2020 election was in the throes of a pandemic. This is the only reason for so many mail in ballets and the extra drop boxes. I used a drop box for my mail in ballet for two reasons, the first is because I didn’t want to stand in a line with possible covid patients, because hey we know how that goes, and two because I at that time did not trust the post office with DeJoy running it. And honestly I still don’t trust DeJoy.

As a poll worker, the idea that Adam wants for everyone to vote in-person, on paper, and counted on the same day, nationwide is literally, physically impossible.
You would need at least 5-10x boost in financial funding for the 50 board of elections around the country or a federalization of the board of elections. And I doubt thats palatable to supposed small-government, fiscal conservatives.

Those drop boxes were absolutely necessary at the height of the COVID pandemic during the 2020 election. Also the removal of several dozen mailboxes in predominantly Democratic larger cities and closing of some precinct locations in Wisconsin (as well as in other States), made it difficult for people of color, the disabled, those without vehicles, etc. to vote. Long lines resulted making it even more difficult for the disabled and elderly to vote. The GOP did everything they could to rig the election in Trump’s favor, but he still lost the popular vote to the more qualified candidate. We the People also voted against Trump in 2016, but the outdated Electoral College allowed him to move into the White House. President Biden legitimately won the 2020 election.
I really hate to think of all the trillions of lives I’ve ended in the washing machine in my lifetime 😂

1-He's NOT conceding that the decision had to do with access by the disabled. He's claiming that he BELIEVES that the 250K ballots placed in ballot boxes are not valid because ballot boxes weren't included in the ways that people can vote. He's also lying about 400 people voting from the same household. 2-His opinion about "consequences" and condoms doesn't even take into consideration that the sexual act may not be consensual or that condoms aren't only used to prevent pregnancy but also to protect against STDs.

Here in LA county, all ballots have a tracking number. An email, and texts are sent to voters letting you know the steps that the ballot is traversing. This should go nationwide
If you ask me, if this guy wants every ballot to have to be hand delivered by the voter to the polls then we as a democracy should declare Election Day a federal holiday. I bet republicans wouldn’t go for that though.

He often comes across as smug to me, although he did engage in good conversations with Sam Harris. However, immediately jumping to conclusions, like asserting "he ran away, oh wow" when the connection was lost, demonstrated a bit of bad faith and charits and some hidden animosity. Also saying "WooOOW" and making forced shocked noises and faces in response to someone opposing masturbation and condoms seemed a bit much. I mean, come on! Are you really going to act as if it's not a position held by a significant portion of the global population, that sex should be reserved exclusively within marriage and for procreation, lol
