You make it look easy. Most people won't fully appreciate how much skill it takes to do so. Stripping those wires freehand was art.
Hands-down, the best mechanical wire Place connection I’ve ever seen in my 55 years on this planet. Well done.
Get this man a Stripper!
🙌👏
Well done! Just what I needed to hook up a single wire to a brake light!! Thanks!!!
The right angle connection was awesome.
Impressive. True master electrician. Using exacto knife and not cutting single strain. Speechless
Got all I needed to know in the first minute and a half thank you very much.
Kewl. How do you shrink wrap that T connection?
Wow!
I’ve been wiring automotive for over 40 years. I just learned some new wiring techniques from this video. Great video.
Cool, thanks
Thank u I know it's kinder like an old video but it helped
Pwede! Amazing!
Very nice sir. 👍👌😁
The T joint is so nice, I've always just done two of the first joint (3>2, 2>1, solder.) What's the proper way to insulate the Tjoint?
silicon & insulation tape
@@MrTechnic Thank you!
Use a wire nut
@@pgood7266 You can use the wire nuts only for joining 2 wires, not for a T joint...
@@oldcityexplorer if you use the blue 3m wire nuts you can join like 6 12 gauge wires
Pretty slick🤓
Good Stuff & Great Tips 👍 Thanks!
looks pretty but you have to wonder about solder penetration through the tightly wrapped outer layer.
capillary action wicks the solder in
Thank you so much for this. Now I know I can fix a recurring problem I’m having once and for all!
Very Nice bro.
Very nice, now I know how to join cables properly. Thanks
This is not the right way to do it, if you want to connect 2 wires use a crimp
This guy should make fly lures...
That's great, but how do you protect that 3--way connection? can't just leave it like that.
Very good 👍
that was really cool ,and neat, Thanks.
Im putting a charger in my truck and need to tap into the ignition wiring for it would the T method work for it or should I cut it put the two wires together in one connector and one in the other end or how should i do it
Thanks
Thank a lot
good job
Thanks
Really nice splices.
How do you put wire protectors on a 3 way like that??
Do I need to use toenail clippers to strip the wires? Or will a regular wire stripper work?
Great Tips 👌👌 Thank you
how are you supposed to shrink tube and seal that type of three way joint?
Thanks.
Thank you so much appreciate this very sturdy wiring wow nice
You are welcome
Nice video
How do you insulate the tee splice after?
3M electrical tape and a zip-tie
Shrinktube, just make sure it's slid on the portion with 1 wire beforehand.
Yeah I prefer to leave exposed wire too. Makes for a more shocking experience.
Isn't that what electrical tape is for?
Shut up and learn.
Lmaooo
Thanks for this video......pls more and more.....this practical knowledge is very important...carry on and I can't understand this why 40 people dislike this
Jealous ...
This video is disliked by professionals. We're, trying to prevend non-professionals doing stupid things using electricity.
@@johnpoppken6542 sir please exposed which is correct and professional....
@@mdmurshiduddinsharifsharif3817none. Make sure to strip back about 1-1.5cm of insulation. Line up insulation and twist copper together with pliers. Trim end then insert into wire nut.
And we are trying to stop clowns like you from posting nonsense through your sixth grade punctuation skills.
Amazing 👍👍
this was the basic at school more then 40 years ago !
Now they don't teach this even at a university.
Whattt...
I'm 16 not once has this even been close to being brought up
As a licensed electrician do not make joints like this it would fail inspections
Would if you don’t have that much wire to make a splice no hate just wondering
thank you sir, I was exactly looking for same.
what if the 3rd wire is solid core? And proper way to shrink tube them. Thanks!
use professional ferrules and terminals. See my reaction on this bonehead's video.
@@johnpoppken6542 I agree.
@@johnpoppken6542 Ok
Use a wire nut
You are the only bonehead here.
Thank you sir
Welcome
Very good in new network, but how to do in energized network?
These are NASA level connections
now what im wondering is how the hell you plan on shrink wrapping the T joint. I didn’t realize we just leave exposed wiring
you don't, just use electrical tape.
Now how do you insulate that?
Excelentes empalmes , un lujo felicitaciones 👏👏👏👏
Thanks for your
So nice of you
thanks
Welcome
clever stuff - but not 1c in viDO did you join 3 wires together, no less 3 open end wires 👋😑
Right methad
Sir, there must be a more practical way of joining two wires. It took you 10 minutes to do it, in an electrical installation where 500 cables must be connected and they are not located comfortably on a table, this is not feasible
Calm down you fancy boy...
500 times. Do the usual.
Juan Mata wire nuts for the win lol
The presenter in the video provided an education he received on splicing and connecting wire through various techniques. How you use such information becomes your responsibility.
If you need someone to hold your hand, go away. You are useless.
very useful, thank you.
THANKS.FOR IMESAGE
Nice wire strippers are those side cutters or toe nail clippers I'll make u a diy video on proper tool use for you if u was charging by the hour you would make bank on one job well if you done this on residential or commercial jobs u better hope no one inspects it
You do realize that splices are not acceptable for buildings, right? I can’t tell if you’re ignorant of this subject or just trolling.
Nice stuff but a simple block connector from any DIY store could save a lot of time by just placing the opposite ends together inside the block connector and screwing down the screws at either ends.
And watch it fail miserable as you have for years and years.
Muy bueno, muy prolijo
I normally hire a professional rattan chairs braider when I need to do this kind of jobs. Also hair braiders will do..
How do you insulate the copper parts afterwards? Please don't say by using electrical tape
Hot glue obviously ;)
Yea try doing all this creativity while standing on ledge to a 12 floor building and then we'll talk
Probably not but laying on your back under a car it probably would work. For work on a building just use wire nuts. This is more for low voltage work.
Wow
Karya wow
This is just a horror movie, nail clippers for sidecutters (and not used properly) and these methods were dropped by industry 60 years ago for safety and reliability reasons
This good video
have you not heard that there insulated crimps to do these jobs, and you don't strip the insulation off cable with sidecutters. you are inviting high resistance connections doing it this way, and high resistace connections tend to get hot, high risk of FIRE!!
Wire. Nut. or use wago...
Sistemi gia in uso da mezzo secolo.... ☺😊😄😃😅😆😂😂☺😊😄😃😅😆😂😂
Yeah let me see you do this with 8 gauge in 0 degree weather with no heat
Nice background music. Track info?
örgü yok🥶😕😕😕😕
Süpır

Could I use this sort of joint to connect to my neighbours electricity supply and steal their electric?
Western union splice been around for a hundred years. This guys a little late.

i want what he is having, bro is thinking in 5 dimentions
itu kalau strumnya nyala di kabel gimana?
Don't do this on over 50 volt circuits it could be very much against code
If I did that I'd probably stab myself about 65 times. Cool video and absolutely fascinating to watch. Thank you!
If you do such things with long hanging wire.. you just hopeless
Its not a showoff but practical thing bud
wow
if you're my electrician i dont mind paying you more
None of these connections pass code, I really hope you wouldn’t hire this guy
h o u s e f i r e
It's danger.. To many spase open area.
I beat this guy never work in a field as electrician. He must be a DIY electrician wana be. 😂 wonder how much can he finish in one day at work 😂😛
