You have all the correct documents on board. Do Keep proper service records and make sure they correspond with your log. If you grease your own truck, you can either log in or create an invoice. I would create an Invoice so you can track mileage and keep a service log. Don’t ask how I know. 😂 Don’t volunteer a scale inspection. They love handing out warnings. Other tidbit. In Ontario only, you don’t need to post your cvor. They use plate readers Enjoy your freedom!
Just found this channel. Love the backing up videos. Would love to see another camera angle from the back of the cab maybe? Top? Just amazed that you can back up a double trailer in such tight spots and keep it straight for distances. Congrats on your professionalism!

I just got back from Ottawa today after doing a Northern Montreal run. When I laid down at 6 pm Thursday night (in Rawdon, QC.), it was snowing like a b*tch but when I woke up at midnight, it was pouring rain at -2. It made for an interesting drive on the back roads, especially empty.
Congrats on your own authority im hoping to get my cdl and get into trucking this year but kinda worried I won't beable to find a job being that I'm 19 you've taught me alot don't think I'll have trouble actually getting my cdl can't wait for more Content
Favorite TH-cam channel. Hopefully TH-cam pays you decently for your content. I know it can be difficult compiling clips together and finding motivation and time off to do that while doing a job that can be stressful. Not only that but I’m sure you get funny looks with the camera on your head
Try tieing a strip of cloth to your mirror bracket - it’ll flap about in the wind and keep the mirrors clean. It’s what we did in the 80’s before heated mirrors
if you tie a 3-5 cm piece of fabric (jeans, or anything) to the console of the mirror right between the two mirrors, as you drive along, the wind will pick the fabric up, will hit the mirror over and over and eventually it will keep part of it clean! also positioning the air vents up and towards the windows (all the side ones) may keep the windows from fogging, because usually the fixed dedicated window airvents are too weak!

This might be incredibly obvious, but isn't it possible to install heated mirrors? or is the cost/hassle not worth it? Just seems like those mirrors are problematic, or maybe it's a rare thing that can be dealt with given how often it happens.
Ah it has heated mirrors but the switch is buggered and only works when it feels like it, which is rarer and rarer now! Peterbilt wants $500 for the module, I’m trying to source just the switch somewhere
