What's up driver, great video as usual. I love the ride along videos and listening to you explain the video. Glad to see and hear the truck is running better. Stay safe out there my friend and keep the videos coming and always travel safely catch you on the next one.
Those precast steps remind me of the one trip I did to Florida w-a-y back in the J&F days, concrete precast units that went to a new condo in Destin FL. I'm sure they make concrete stairs in Florida but for some reason (possibly being a Canadian developer or building owner) that load went from the GTA down to Florida! I remember the trip well mainly for the return because delivery was on Friday, reload was Monday in Nashville. That gave me a full day to visit the US Space and Rocket museum in Huntsville, AL.
I’ve been thinking about you miss and I’m sure you’ve considered just about everything but I wonder if you take the pick up line. I presume you’ve only got one pick up line off the top of the tank. Take it off where it goes into the pump and block it off with thread tape so it’s nicely seal on the end thread tape Red bowl and then putting adapter with a fitting at the Tank end of the pick up line gently add low pressure air and see if it leaks away bleeds away case you got pinholes in the pick up line I’ve seen that happen before. Don’t worry about the return because it can do is leak, but it doesn’t affect you pick up and just do that on every section before and after the pump etc. You might have a hairline fracture in a Fuel line. I’m thinking maybe.
Nice to see you coming up to 'my' Ottawa again. I'm a long-time fan of Call The Mall ;-) Nice relaxed videos, plus informative. I'm not a driver myself though, other than some ATS and ETS2. I agree that the wildfire smoke has a peculiar plasticky smell - maybe the artificial Christmas tree plantations are on fire too?
GOOD DAY, CALLTHEMALL!! THANKS MUCH FOR TAKING US ALONG ON YOUR TRUCKING WORK TRIP TO OTTAWA. LOVE THE VIEW FROM A TRANSPORT TRUCK. IN THE END, YOU ALWAYS FIGURE THINGS OUT!!! YOU ALSO HAVE EXCELLENT DRIVING SKILLS, FOR SURE!! WITH THAT, HAVE YOURSELF A GREAT DAY!!! CHEERS & STAY SAFE!!!🥰🥰🦅🦅
The mechanic at my garage always cleans all the battery surfaces and sprays them entirely with that blue protector stuff. He says it’s well worth it. Dirt and crap can allow the poles to short or discharge between themselves. But 5 years is pretty good.
I meant to ask you Matt on a previous video when you’re doing those reversing videos where do you mount your cameras? I’ve got a clamp that goes on The West Coast mirror bracket but to be honest it doesn’t really give a very good perspective so what have you done to to yours? And I wonder where you get whatever it is that you Mad I use Guy pros just for additional information.
We've been breathing that smoke down here in East central Wisconsin for most of the summer now. Some days looked worse than that. Love your vids, good stuff.
Here in southeast Michigan and we’ve been catching that wildfire smoke too. I woke up the other morning and thought it was just morning fog until I stepped outside and smelled it
Matt if you’re ever up for a sit down breakfast you can walk over the 417 to a nice greasy spoon called broadways. They have truck parking in the back there just not sure how long you can park there
7:33 - if I were to work in the manufacturing line for concrete steps, I would assume that we'd use rebar steel to increase the strength and to lessen the risks of it being brittle. But I don't manufacture concrete stairs... so I can't say if you were fine then or not, still, I don't blame ya for your decision to leave it firm rather than tight on the straps. 👍
Hi mate love your vids a play American truck simulated I no it's not related thing but I learn a lot watching u backing that train .all the best from Scotland mate .stay safe
If you get tired of the smoke just send it to the lower 48 like you always do! Greetings from Ohio. Your bridge works look like the monuments we're building here. Maybe put roundabouts on the bridges too.
You have a suction leak. Get one of those Miti Vac testers and check for a vacuum leak on your fuel tank outlet. If it does'nt hold it check on down line.
In the States, the road engineers are getting away from the old coverleaf designs, and going more toward those long gradual turns and overpasses. Maybe because to many drivers are driving off the roads or ?....
Question to you is, When was the last time you seen or heard their was a tornado in your area or areas you drive passed? That king-Pin lock is for RVs I think, since their pins are smaller compare to trucks.
Your ecm might be dying, There’s a battery inside it. I have a studder problem on my 60 series tried a test ecm and it fixed it I’m just too poor to buy a new one right now
@@DarrenHobinHere That was a good idea wasn't it. Ouch. And plenty more years to go yet. I wonder what the cut off point will be when motorists just stop using it.
I don’t think that’s a good idea having parakeet with those cats around. My mom have had parakeets for the pass 40 year…… make sure y’all cover them up at night that’s how they go to sleep
Nothing nicer than to get up Saturday morning and take a ride to Ottawa. Thanks again from Vancouver.

Ahhh, the joys of pulling pups!!!
Looking up youtube, thought I would take another ride to Ottawa. Thanks again. Also brought a bowl of KD along as well.

Nice ride you bring back so much memories have a good drive take care
Thanks for the journey. Great to ride along and hear your interesting perspectives. Safe trucking!
Boy trucking for you must be like a hobby. It costs money to do it.
Looking forward to an asmr cat idle someday :)
Just got number 6 injector replaced so now she purrs like a kitten again 😎
ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO AND THERE’S MORE….. AWESOME …. PART 2 TIME TO ROLL … CHEERS BUDDY 🫡🤘

Saw you round abouts Napanee. That Pete was looking shiny from across the 401. All the best

show more of the trailers, love the set-up
My exact thought when it comes to the 407 is it really worth the time.....yes and I go on the 407. :)

I am unfamiliar with a b train setup...I'm in PA. You seem like a good person and you work a nice rig.
She looks BEA-utiful in that thumbnail Matt! Shiny hood, looking good 😎
Too many trailers for my old ass. Love your ride. ❤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spotted you on the eastbound while sitting at the acre in belleville the other day !
Been waiting to see you on the road, one day it'll happen!
those knuckle cuts look extremely familiar ;)
Great video ! Love the ride !
It's not just the time and fuel, the 407 is basically insuring ess possibility of accidents especially for a single owner operator
It was nice meeting you the other day driver! i actually seen you the next day heading wb 401 near Cobourg, for a one man band you are everywhere😂
Gotta stay busy!
Great job bro 👍👍
Work in Ottawa I hit up that petro pass all of the time and she’s tight in there.
You have a suction leak. Get one of those Miti Vac testers and check for a vacuum leak on your fuel tank outlet. If it does'nt hold it check on down line.
Turns out it was a bad injector!
How the truck is working???
Better now! Have an update video coming out soon
Pot holes and curbs, its a training ground for driving in Quebec!!
Honk as you go by driver. I'm in Smiths Falls.
I live down here in NC and the smoke has been horrible for the past few weeks from the fires
Lets sing, instead of Frank Sinatra--come fly with me lets change that to --come truck with me!! Be cool, Be safe!!
Shut up

By you pulling the train trailers does that mean you have more problems than those who are pulling reefers, flatbeds and etc....?
Not necessarily no, just more entertaining to back up lol
Question to you is, When was the last time you seen or heard their was a tornado in your area or areas you drive passed?
That king-Pin lock is for RVs I think, since their pins are smaller compare to trucks.
Been a couple years since driving through a tornado warning. Tried to make a video of it but nothing happened 😂😂
@@callthemall I think you was parked in a truck stop when their was a tornado warning in the area. I'm not sure, I think it was that.
Hay...your loading at stubbies?
I always regret my life decisions when i have to cross toronto on the 401 in traffic 😅 im used to montreal bullshit 😅😂
"Smart" people doing stunts on the shoulders... lovely, aren't they?
I call my GPS “Bitchin’ Betty”.
The construction in ottawa is beyond stupid this summer. I hate it
nice! does your truck have a name yet? after watching ( or hearing ) the video i suggest "rolling thunder" ^^ have a nice weekend everyone
is your truck a heavy spec 46k rears or 40k
The 5th wheel lock is a bummer, not much you could do to modify it
I plan on taking a grinder to it one day 😎
are you doing some ride in Quebec ? hope to see you on the road someday
Unfortunately my authority is Ontario only
Your ecm might be dying, There’s a battery inside it. I have a studder problem on my 60 series tried a test ecm and it fixed it I’m just too poor to buy a new one right now
Ended up slapping in a new #6 injector after this trip and it fixed it! 😁

Well, maybe it’s fuck you problem somewhere in the houses. . By the way, I love your videos keep making him thank you Martijn greetings from Holland.
why is it that all of the canadian back streets and truck stops are so bumpy and unkept it seems road wise...wait i might no but like that sucks dude
😂😂😂 yeah your mind goes bad sometime
Full of Canadian smoke
lol this is my work pink precast
👍
Why do you sometimes leave your hazards on!?
I've seen truckers do it when going slowly uphill or when joining highways via a short ramp. Basically any time they can't maintain the speed limit.
They hit you for tolls in Canada. $140 to take a freeway. I would want a police escort with lights and sirens for that.
The one highway anyway. The Ontario government gave a private consortium a 99-year lease to operate and toll the highway in 1999, and here we are now.
@@DarrenHobinHere That was a good idea wasn't it. Ouch. And plenty more years to go yet. I wonder what the cut off point will be when motorists just stop using it.
