    The Talay Sawan Bang Saray offers amazing luxury beachside living for well under $300K around 9M Thai Baht. These are fantastic condos with wonderful views of the water from your living room and patio. The units are right at Bang Saray Beach and only a few minutes walk from the local night life area. I will take you on a tour of the model unit and show you a little of the area.
    My name is Brian but everyone calls me Greeny. I retired in January of 2020 after working 30 years in my field. I didn’t want to work so long that I would be too old to enjoy my retirement. After living in Michigan my whole life I decided I wanted to retire somewhere warm, somewhere exotic. I sampled a ton of places in the Caribbean, Panama, Colombia, Turkey but set my sights on Thailand. I spent most of the winter of 2020 exploring Thailand then ......you know what happened. IT!!!
    So I had to catch one of the last flights and come home. Now I’m back.
    Why am I making videos? I need a hobby. I feel if I don’t do anything creative my mind may melt. I can also easily go back and reminisce by watching the videos. If anyone else enjoys them then that is a plus.
    I take a bunch of Travel photos. Check out my Instagram or Facebook. I usually post a pic everyday.

    The Condo is nice. Unusual floor plan for me with bedrooms on ground floor but I understand having the living quarters upstairs. The view is nice. Nice relaxing area to have morning coffee outside. This place is a gem and the area for what I look for. Thank you Greeny for sharing.

    Hey Greeny! Not going to give my opinion of the place but will let you know my house in Bangkok was a split level three bedrooms and two full baths upstairs with two balconies, downstairs had a formal dining room large kitchen, living room, library, maids quarters off of the kitchen, laundry room and a half bath. Two car garage with a koi pond and fruit trees and orchids in the yard all with a double gated community for 165,000 U.S. but thanks for taking the time to show us around. God bless.

    Very interesting video and what a bizarre development !!! A kinda very smart 21st Century version of a short time/bring your mia noi style hotel/resort aimed at Thais where they pull up with their vehicles and go straight into the garage/room accommodation............It's certainly unique, but I can't see any foreigners wanting to live there with your neighbours looking down into your not so private pool and being so very close on the adjacent terraces..................I can't see this being any more than a white elephant and if there were any buyers, they would only be airbnb'ing and short term renting them...................

Would have been better a Jacuzzi upstairs and the upstairs was terrible cause U were on top of your neighbors. The garage door wasn’t great either looked like a door to a storage unit vs a garage door. Net net yes it was nice but not for that price I mean there wasn’t even a bathtub. The Thais seem quite like Brits when it comes to property. They don't work it out the way a cost and management accountant would. A US hedge fund is about to buy the British supermarket Morrisons. Morrisons owns its own real estate. One of the big questions is whether they're going to sell the real estate and lease it back. That can make perfect sense, but most Brits can't imagine that it could be good to be a tenant.

      You fail to understand the property market in the UK. For decades now it has been the best return on investment you can make compared with other traditional and accessible savings/investment options available to individuals. As an example, my father bought his house in 1981 for £73k. Today that same house is worth just over £1million.

    • @craigross341
      @craigross341 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@StephenWestrip He didn't know it was going to be worth that when he bought it! The person who sold it to him certainly didn't know!! Nor did the insurance companies like Guardian Royal Exchange, who used to rent to millions and sold out, because they couldn't make any money. Until 2001 - contrary to popular belief - residential property went up at inflation plus 1%. Most of the gains were just inflation, and those who'd borrowings during it paid massive interest. Owning was just really forced savings. Arguably the UK economy has under-performed for decades because of this ingrained stupidity. We don't impose capital gains on the main residence, we once allowed interest out of gross income, we didn't impose imputed rent taxes on owners, we won't impose a land value tax....
      Ach, I don't care. As I say, you can't reason with a Brit about property. "It's as cheap to buy as it is to rent, rent's just dead money, you've got to get on the ladder, in a few years time the mortgage will seem like nothing..". It's pointless. A people sabotaging themselves with cretinous slogans where there should be thought.
