    Aaron, it just blows my mind how you do all of these videos while speaking and showing at the same time.

    The "overpaint & mask" tip is exactly what I've needed! Thank you!

    I learned Photoshop from Phlearn about 6 years ago, based on videos such as these. Excellent work, Aaron!

    Thanks for the good info. I had no idea that I could use the clone stamp and healing tool on an empty layer to fix a layer below.

    Select the subject and invert to create a mask so you can clone stamp or heal without actually bleeding into the subject. This is far easier than cleaning it up later.

    Hi Arron, thanks for this video. One question: why do you have to create a duplicate layer before applying " content aware fill"?
    Thanks.
    Eric.

    • @andreas.farsch
      @andreas.farsch 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't have to duplicate the layer, because you can choose to output on a new layer in the content aware fill dialog. I guess it's just a habit to do so, because the goal always is to work non-destructively. In this video here you can see that he often creates a new layer when he switches to the next tool. I think it's good to follow that habit.
