I also have Crohns. I work out 5 times a week now. But 4 years ago a could not walk 800 meters to get my two kids from kindergarten. Had to take the car. The medication you mentioned litterely saved my life. I became less tired. Could work full time again. And sleep. Had really hard time sleeping despite always being tired. Really hope you find the medication that's working for you. Keep doing great and respectfully videos. This video ment something to me. Thank you.

Mate could see how emotional it must of been to make this video stay strong like you have done before and being one of few fitness/ nutrition advisers who don't sell bullshit and actually care and deliver knowledge this is inspiring to show never to give up

I'm sorry you're going through this at all, but you should be proud for persevering through and not just accepting it without a fight. Stay strong, Ben.

I think your amazing the quantity of things you while dealing with this os amazing. your an example to us all. I find you very motivating and inspiring. I think identify with you massively as I have had chronic pain adhd and autism and my road to fitness has been slow and rough. What I like most about you is your always to the point and direct. I hope everything works out fine sharing your story is a great way to come to terms with your own individuality I have found.

Thank you! This problems are never good for anyone but I believe it makes people more empathic and that can shift a lot on the mind, personality and how we value the different stuff in life.

This helps me understand why you're such a brave guy who speaks the truth and doesn't give a shit what other people in the industry think: because you're just brave, period. Good on you for wanting to help people enough to step out of your comfort zone. I have dealt with chronic illness personally and it is stories like yours that help keep people like us off of the sidelines and on the path of helping others. Cheers and be well ✊✌️💪

thanks for sharing. I suffer from UC myself and went through joint inflammation, unable to walk an 50lb weight loss. currently trying to pick myself back up as this is a relatively new diagnosis for me. I admire you putting it out there, and selfishly I hope you are able to share more, nutrition included. but seriously....thanks bud

I know this is an old video, and it’s a difficult topic. I hope you are doing much better now!
I have achalasia, gastroparesis, reflux&indigestion, intestinal dysmotility (like a severe form of IBS), alongside mental and physical disabilities.
I’ve had to rely on parenteral nutrition through a PICC (line in to the heart). I have had IV vitamins and a number of supplements.
Right now I’m waiting for a POEM (surgery on throat) for achalasia, and I’m currently only on oral foods, but what I can actually digest is basically just sugar and lean protein. (No red meats, no vegetables, no fruit, less than 10-15% fat and low fibre).
But as long as I’m still alive, I’m trying to make things as good as possible. I need to figure out how to move a bit more and eat a bit better when possible. Your shorts have been inspiring me to do that (I had no idea you had IBD until this video) and that can only be a positive thing.

My dad, sister, and brother have Crohn's. I feel for you. It's an awful disease that hits people at varying levels. It's pretty bad at every level. I do not want it and hope I don't. It can happen later as my father was diagnosed with when he was in his late 30s or early 40s. The treatments aren't the greatest right now. Good luck with your treatments. Hopefully they work better for you.

I'm here because I recently went to the doctor after a bout of abdominal pain... My doc called me after some blood tests to tell me my CRP is 133, he sent me for an urgent ct scan which I am waiting for the results of, and put me on strong antibiotics. Hearing that your crp was 137 makes me realise I need to take this seriously.

      137ug/g? that's weird, mine was 105 & yet the doc re-ordered a stool test

Powerful video, you have a community out here cheering for you. There’s a dude who wrote “The Makers Diet” who said he was healed from Crohn’s. My niece fights it.

Man thats rough... Just remember that if u might lose some weight again during n after this surgery, that muscle will be back on u in no time. Even though u know this and proven this over and over and over again, im sure the shitty feeling about this will come up. Try to step over it the sooner the better cause stress for colon/chrone is def not a good thing.
