Wimbledon is more sought after, the Wimbledon with green outline for numerals is more interesting too

I have owned stick dials, Submariners, Air Kings, Roman dials, Explorers etc. Look , this dial encompasses everything you can get in a datejust, Roman, stick, and Lumed hands. Its aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and has a balanced design. Its why you wanted to purchase it for over a year. I now own this in the Ever rose configuration and wont trade it for anything.

I’m conflicted over the white gold or two tone- do you find the TT is just as wearable for everyday situations?

Honest opinion, keep the wimbledon. Everyone and their dog has the blue datejust. The Wimbledon is far nicer, much classier more timeless.

No!! 😂 Wimbledon dial 🎾 has more character.. get a different blue dial watch to add to the collection. I’m pretty sure swapping it would void the warranty

I had Rolex swap the dial on my blue 1803 Day Date 20+ years ago to a champagne dial and I still have the original blue dial so if you want to change dials go right ahead.

I recommend keeping the Wimbledon dial you have & dont swap it over. Go for the the 41mm blue dial its more sporty in my opinion... if thats something you desire.. This Slate dial is more versatile especially with it being a 36mil if you catch my drift, It's too easy to have second thoughts. Take this as reasurrence you got the right watch.

Wear your watch as it is and stick to your decisions. Do you change your wife/gf as often too? You need to build your confidence. The Wimbledon dial is the best dial you can have on DJ. If you still want to f with it, the Rolex service center can swap your dials with no warranty void

Wimbledon is more sought after compared to the blue. Theres way too many variations of the blue dial.

Throw some 20 inch chrome wheels on it and add a little boost and the resale value will skyrocket! 👍

I prefer the blue as well. The dark dials are gorgeous! I say make the switch.

I wouldn’t touch a new model and especially with the gorgeous Wimbledon dial. I don’t think you’re serious about it anyway 😂

Hey serge, I got the 41 mm smooth bezel jubilee Wimbledon. Wish I could have had the fluted bezel, but it was what offered I took it.

I personally don't see what all the hype is with the Wimbledon dial imo. I can't get over the 9 hand, just looks awful to me and poor design choice by Rolex. Throws the whole aesthetics of the watch off. IMO the regular stick dials look much nicer and better balanced aesthetically pleasing to look at. Just screams class because everything is in uniform. Which is why I went with the blue dial DJ41 😉

The blue dial is not even close to this one aesthetically. Lmao. I find the blue dial boring, i'd prefer this dial any day of the week.

You could also get the blue with a smooth bezel and switch the bezels if you want to save some cash. That wouldn’t be difficult undo

Hey! I’m debating between the Sub and the 36 datejust and I have the same wrist size as you, so happy I stumbled on your Chanel. After wearing both watches which one do you prefer? Do you find the sub top heavy and not as comfortable to wear? Is there anything you like about the sub more than the datejust?
    Thanks for any advice!

    • @simplyserge5000
      @simplyserge5000  ปีที่แล้ว +1

I gravitate to the sub but the date just fits better and it’s lighter. Sub just feels more substantial and interesting. Can’t go wrong with either though as I love them both

If you’re going to do it has to go back to Rolex never ever trust a watchmaker to do it second Rolex will charge you for a service on watch plus the price of the dial and they will also keep your original dial you want a blue dial buy another watch

I wouldn't swap the dial. The Wimbledon dial looks nice and is more versatile and balanced than the blue one.But if you decide to do so, go to an AD. That's the only way you can be sure that you'll receive an original part.
