Richard is a genius. i can't tell if his whole personality is an act, which if it is is an insane level of skill and commitment I'm certainly incapable of, or if it is just who he is as a person that exudes the level of perfect comedic timing do to awkward delivery, but which ever it is, I deeply respect the man for all the laughs he's bestowed upon me.
Very likely to be a persona that has elements of his real personality, but when you seem him interact with someone like Chris O'Dowd or Noel Fielding, you can tell that he is trying to keep the awkward persona up and to not break.

Ricard truly makes the best of it. I am a fan of Richard Ayoade he is cute. He is also great in The Mandalorian season 1 as Zero. It's cool he got to work with Disney. He has done more than he gives himself credit for.

I totally agree. They consistently get it wrong: Fry was funny for a few years and then became tiresome; Jonathan Ross and Joanna Lumley were dreadful. I didn’t see the Rebel Wilson broadcast but she seemed an odd choice. But you can bet they won’t give RA the gig - too obviously the best option and too ironic for the Hollywood gang.
