Just got off the phone with James- great guy and very knowledgeable. He definitely helped me figure out the best route to take for my build and answered all my noob-ish questions regarding building my old long-block vs getting a turn-key. While I'm fairly confident I can assemble the internals, check clearances, torque everything to spec, etc... I wouldn't really be saving that much money considering everything that's needed to be done to prep the old block-halves and heads for a +600whp build. Anyways, I just said "fuck it" and got the IAG 900 long-block plus all supporting mods to go with my ETS rotated Precision 6266 turbo. Couldn't pass up that black Friday deal.
Spoke with James the other day about my stg 2.5 closed deck build. Not only was James very friendly and was genuinely concerned that I made the right choices, he's def knowledgeable on the best route to take for my HP goals and building a reliable motor. Thanks a million James!
