It was a big ask giving yourself an hr to find a picker. I'm sure mother nature has a sixth sense and knows when it's 'just a quick pan' so she gives a little to keep you searching. Great video to show how much the prospector is not in control. Love your work Dan, keep them coming.

you know, theres more to rocks than gold, theres clay in there. theres murcury that could be broken down to elemental murcury. which in nature is an important element. theres pine resin stones that you could melt into pinetar. theres a lot of educational stuff you could show us how to do on your claims. and could bring in extra revenue on your part. im not trying to tell you what to do, im just trying to give you constructive feedback. i like to learn, but i dont neccesarily need to know how to get gold when its something you cover frequently. that part i have figured out.
This video shows reality. I think that often people are so used to seeing gold that IS found on YT channels...that they are fooled into believing it's easy and you can find it all the time. The reality is that sometimes you put all the effort in...and have very little success. Great video. It might not glitter ...but the real content is still gold.
I watch these while doing my cardio for the day. Gold is great but the little adventure and tidbits of information are awesome. The outcome isn’t nearly as important

So there’s no chance of a picker to be washed out when you are panning in the river? I understand gold is heavier, so it falls to the bottom, but it seems like some of the fast moving currents could still wash it out of the pan. Anyways, nice videos! Enjoy your content.

As always your videos are peaceful, and enjoyable! I don't watch you and PioneerPauly for the amount of gold you guys find, but for the journey you show, and though hevy work, and long days bought in filming, and editing. For me it's the fun along the way that makes you guys the best outdoors gold panners i've ever seen, and i hope you'll continue making videos you enjoy too ^+^
Just 1gram per day is enough for £22,000 over a year. A person can live on that for a year if they're smart. Yes, I know, you'll have to pay some tax but as gold is gold, there is always someone that would buy it off the books. The bigger nuggets can be sold for a bit more as specimens or to a little jewellers that makes little pieces.
I liked the video for sure. That's how it is. I never panned for gold, but it reminds me of carp fishing. There are days that I can see them foraging like crazy, but then somehow they refuse to take my bait. It's always exiting though. And outdoor activity is a good thing anyways.
Dan, I do not know what other people think BUT i love being able to spend a couple of minutes with you and watch a MASTER at work along with someone who enjoys their hobby and shares their knowledge.
Well, I get that a lot, everytime actually :D. No gold, but I'm getting better at spoting for garnets and getting more black sands. Got to comfort myself with rocks and minerals to keep up :P

So there’s no chance of a picker to be washed out when you are panning in the river? I understand gold is heavier, so it falls to the bottom, but it seems like some of the fast moving currents could still wash it out of the pan. Anyways, nice videos! Enjoy your content.

I don't watch you and PioneerPauly for the amount of gold you guys find, but for the journey you show, and though hevy work, and long days bought in filming, and editing. For me it's the fun along the way that makes you guys the best outdoors gold panners i've ever seen, and i hope you'll continue making videos you enjoy too ^+^
Just 1gram per day is enough for £22,000 over a year. A person can live on that for a year if they're smart. Yes, I know, you'll have to pay some tax but as gold is gold, there is always someone that would buy it off the books. The bigger nuggets can be sold for a bit more as specimens or to a little jewellers that makes little pieces.

I liked the video for sure. That's how it is. I never panned for gold, but it reminds me of carp fishing. There are days that I can see them foraging like crazy, but then somehow they refuse to take my bait. It's always exiting though. And outdoor activity is a good thing anyways.
Dan, I do not know what other people think BUT i love being able to spend a couple of minutes with you and watch a MASTER at work along with someone who enjoys their hobby and shares their knowledge.
