    I have no idea why youtube recommended me this, I have never watched anything to do with gold before, and yet I sat here enthralled for 26 minutes. Very cool video, thank you for being so educational and really explaining what you're doing and why, it was great to watch as someone who knows nothing about this stuff.

    Alaska Mint is a gift shop in Alaska. The last time I saw someone do their paydirt, it might have been one of Klesh's past paydirt videos, the gold was in a separate little zip lock baggie and had to be added to the paydirt if you wanted the panning experience. Nothing but a tourist trap

      @artbrandon4958 It makes me so angry how many tourist traps sell "Authentic Native crafts" that have "made in Taiwan" stickers on them. A few of them are things clueless folks shouldn't be messing around with in the first place. They never tire of stealing every little thing from us, do they?

    • @gaiamission7200
      @gaiamission7200 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      im going to be honest, as someone who is completely confused by this entire industry and, honestly, thinks its stupid. that seems like a better experience, you can verify the authenticity of products much easier by just weighing the baggies contents for review, and mixing it in gives the same experience. after all, you are purchasing these items with the expectation that there will always be gold present inside it anyway

    • @samuraibeluga3749
      @samuraibeluga3749 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      i mean lets be honest all paydirt functions that way, gold is inserted into the material, they arent sending bags of original material to people, otherwise who know you might actually get something good. none of it actually pays out, thats the whole point otherwise such business wouldnt even exist. the question in place is how honest they are in the guarantee of gold, and how good the outcome is and how much they put in their pocket compared to you. for example here in this video the percentage isnt that bad at all, especially compared to other vendors out there. you aint gonna buy paydirt to make money, you buy the experience. whether that experience is worth the price or not thats a whole different discussion.

    I thoroughly enjoy these videos. Personally I don't know anything about panning but I've always wanted to. It seems to me if you find a reputable paydirt vendor and can expect seventy percent of your money back, the joy of extracting it and the fact that over time the price of gold will always rise you end up with a win win scenario. That is of course, if you can trust the vendor. Thanks :)

    I need tips on how to spot gold in my pan. I live in northeast Georgia so I think it's just flower gold here. But how do I tell flower gold when it's so small?

    24:48 That would be a negative 74% ROI. Big difference. Have you ever gotten a positive ROI from paydirt or is this why it’s called paydirt?

  • @Omnishredder

    I think i have an idea about the honesty test and may even have encountered something crazy... Two elite boxes from scarlet and violet, one of each colour, and the mine packs in violet had a little blue tagging on the back where the flap is, but the scarlet box had green there... The blue stripe set had a higher ratio of EX cards and a higher rarity chance than green... Have bought 18 more recently and believe they're all green, yet to open and investigate

    • @Omnishredder
      @Omnishredder 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      But I am fairly convinced that the blue tag area on the back isn't nothing considering the vast difference in both rarity and EX cards obtained from equal amounts of packs of both colours... And wish I could prove this or at least influence people to look into this and either confirm or deny this

    Fun vid, very entertaining for something that's usually pretty monotonous. One critique tho... If you spend a Hunny and get back 75, that's not a 75% ROI...that's a -25% loss. If you found 175 worth, then that would be a 75% ROI. I get what you were going for, but to me...numbers are black and white, so I just had to type this :) You gained a sub tho...I'll be back. Thanks.

    I'm a little confused do people buy these bags of paydirt to make money off of or do they buy it as like a hobby so they can pan for gold if they're not in a location where they can get stuff to pan? Like when you go into it are you expecting to lose money or are you expecting to make money or break even at least?

    • @Klesh
      @Klesh  หลายเดือนก่อน

      These are definitely not for investing. Think of them as a way for people that can't go prospecting (for whatever reason) a chance to have that experience at home. I'm just here to weed out the vast majority of scammers 👍
