i am slowly but surely learning to live again
Second that
me too
Many people have made it over the age of 40 including Vera Wang and Stan Lee. Many others have become famous in their 50s-60s. As far as I am concerned this can happen even at 70 or beyond. People limit themselves thinking "If it hasn't happened by now it never will." But what they fail to see is they are holding themselves back and setting their own limitations. Your music is beautiful. I love what you did in the kitchen. It kind of has that yellow-gold look of antiquity from what I can tell. Don't let anyone crush your dreams:-) 🧚✨💫 PS A guy friend on FB addressed this same issue just yesterday. He's a gifted singer and musician in his early 30s and he said that there is a stereotype going around that if you haven't made it by 25 you're not going to, and he wanted to let people know it isn't true.
You are such a beautiful human....so nice to know people like you still exist. Your music IS you...beautiful. 😻💜😻
Sometimes I wish I could forget my age and also no one would remind me of it because knowing your age comes with so many weird expectations from others and also from yourself. But in the end age doesn't really matter. You can do what you want when you want. There shouldn't be a "life plan" from society what you have to do during a specific age, or what you can accomplish only during a specific age.
The only time your age is really relevant is when you become a legal adult...
Whether it be through your painting, writing, music… You were meant to share your talents with the world! Such star power! 😍
Watching from Sydney. I’m taking small steps to create more. I have a fine art degree however all my energies goes to teaching high school Visual Arts now. I wish I had this zest of life to be unapologetically creative.
Lovely.
I'm 55 yo and just starting my upcycled clothing shop ! 🎉🥰
yessss being a self-starter is so empowering not only for yourself but others to see they can take initiative too!!!
For me the problem is, that I don't really have dreams. I used to dream of having kids and a garden with a suburban house. None of those dreams resonate with me anymore and I've tried to dream again and set goals but I cannot feel passionate about them. Any tips on how to 'redream' your future when u realize your dreams just aren't all that?
Maybe try to find out what you're truly passionate about. If you have an interest in a certain thing, just try it. Do tons of different things until you find out what your new dream is. Remember, it's not really about the dream it's about working towards it and experiencing it in the moment. But that's just how i work it out in my life. I have no idea what ì want to do in my life, and now i try to take a deep breath and realize that's okay too.❤😂
Spring is just starting in Paris. Le Printemps just commence a Paris. It’s so nice to hear the sounds of birds after a dark cold winter…
Happy Spring everyone! 🌷🌸
The little boy staring at you, is wondering if you think he’s bad for kicking the flowers. 🤭
Spring is the best period to be in Paris especially in May "Mai, Mais Mais Paris" (Claude Nougaro)
@@nicolasb.henry294 yes, everything awakens and the people become more upbeat. 🥰
I adore this. I didn't figure out that I wanted to be a writer until I was 26. That doesn't even feel that late, but expectations around me have made me feel like it! Never again. Excited for your music adventures! xxx
such great commentary of building a community and lifting each other up to rise ourselves too 🫶 much love and light to you
I am forever inspired by you! I love the real talk, and the birds chirping in the background! Age is such a complex one... I am 26 and living back in England where I grew up after spending my early twenties living abroad. I always found it strange when people started living like they were 50 but were actually 21. If we're lucky enough to get to 80's/90's then your 20's are literally only the start! What's the rush! I have had quite a few people in my life die early (30's), so I've really seen these years as a blessing and want to live life to the full
Omg such a nice song ❤
truly one of my fav parts of the vlog 💜
its springtime - lets thrive.
I bought the Artist's Way book and journal pack for my niece for her 18th b-day coming this week based on your recommendation of it Shayna! And I love using my pretty pink Vulnerability is my Superpower hardback journal!
Started my YT chanel at 32. It is never too late ❤ Thank you Shaina for this empowering message!
Perfect timing thank you Shaina.. been following for years. You’ve been such a wholesome inspiration Cx
Lots of love and hope to meet you sometime in France!
From South Florida Xxx
This is pure Aquarian Magic
As long as you are finding joy, that beautiful abundant feeling
I so love listening to nature any time, the sounds are soothing unlike loud noisy places. I feel I'm more sensitive to noise than I used to be and much prefer quiet. Those tulips are beautiful and I hope they're still there. It is so nice to get out when the sun is shining. It is overcast here and I think rain is coming.
Ahhh omg I love that book! I was stuck waiting for hours in Euston station as usual and went to the book store and bought that book and another called 20 Fragments of a Ravenous Youth by Xiaolu Guy which is also incredible! It’s about a girl in Beijing early 2000s from a small village now in the city working in film and her struggling with her new life and challenging people’s views on women and urgh it’s amazing but Breasts and Eggs is such a good book I could not put it down!! Also I love the yellow wall! Love how you painted it. I grew up in the south of France and our kitchen used to be orange and was painted in a similar fashion and it’s one of my earliest memories just watching how the sun used to hit it. When I get my place I’m painting my kitchen walls orange!
I agree with you when you talk about sensitivity to sound/noise and children.
I love how often you’re posting. Love living thru you and upping my game as well.
i just love when there’s a new purple palace vlog to put on while making my morning matcha
thank you for this, such good timing for me. just quit my soul draining job and moving into the unknown.
this one was like an answer to a prayer. ♥
“Don’t let the muggles get you down” is my mantra ✨
what an incredible voice
thank you for talking on age and the feeling slike one is "too late" it is a thought that plagues my mind every day. I will take your inspiring words to move me to explore new creative paths and ideas
The apartment looks great.
we are given a life, we each get X amount of years, each day in our lifetime is of equal value, you can do anything at any time, health permitting. We are fed this bullshit that only the young have value and the ability to create new things, each decade brings a new wave of awareness and the gifts just keep growing and the knowing gets deeper. Stay wild and freeX
The best part of not having your own children, is that you can move away from them 😂😂😂.
Girl when mine are being annoying (I mean annoying not because they are annoying, but my senses get overwhelmed so easily) I can't get away 😂😂😭😭. Thank God for always helping me think of ways to quiet them a few minutes while so I can decompress a bit.
Also why was that child kicking flowers 😭😭😭 none of my 5 would ever, because I'm their mom and I wouldn't let them randomly destroy nature 😭😭
Thank you Shayna ❤I believe in you too 😊
this felt so refreshing and inspiring to watch, merci!
One day would love to catch one of your shows, especially in Paris 🎼😍😎✨💜
How does someone look at these precious flowers and decides “yes, need to destroy it” 😢 kid or not..
I think it’s never too late, it can get harder when we are older. But also letting go of high expectations helps (although never stop dreaming). I started creating again (art, music, videos) and let go of my expectations of becoming the greatest lol and it became so freeing as well 💞
really needed this video. merci!!
Lovee 💞 watching while eating my lil breakfast smoothie
yessss to all that you said! I swear you're a mani gen in human design
Thank you 100000000 times, collectively dreaming and feeling held by your tender light
That was a lovely video🌸 very serene… and loved your song🌸🌸
That looks such a nice park to spend some time! I stayed in the Latin Quarter area last week and it's a really interesting and wonderful arrondissement, I already miss Paris. Bon printemps!
I love you so much! You are such a delight, thank you
Yes we're somehow supposed to know what we will do for the rest of our lives at 17. And also never supposed to change our minds. It's so mean to try to judge yourself based on that criteria.
you should do a live show in Athens!! I would love to watch you perform!
Love you ! 💜
Thank You Shayna Always encouraging ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

What version of dirtbag was that playing? Love it
Thanx for taking us to the park with you. And J'ai envie de manger ce croissant que tu m'as donne/donay. haha. Like D0-Re-Ma-Fa (smile), and yes, your song is fun. -------------How interesting that to you a hammock is an island. I, thinking it an invitation, would n't dream of hanging mine in a park. Last one I hung in my house.... (LOVE YA)
Shell collects Rocks?
Come to Madrid please please pleaseeeee
You are an inspiration. If you are interested Angela Ucci has interviews on youtube of her former New Age experience to follower of Jesus. Her podcast is Heaven and Healing. You are an inspiration and so unique in your creativity.
You look so like Natasha Macelhone ❤
That’s so funny I got that a lot growing up!!
That kid is not annoying, il a carrément crushed ur day reading dream .The responsable adult is guilty of not being around and letting him destroy nature and labour of the park employees and public property. It takes a community to educate a child. What was this kid's misery if it was determined to damage lovely tulips???
Can you do livestreams on youtube?
I feel like you're the girl version of drew monson (love you both btw)
🎉
🥐❤🌸📚
Never heard of not being allowed to sit on the grass in parks. Isn't that what they're for?? Good luck with your shows and adventures coming up! Loved your "really long rant" feeling inspired, thanks ❤🌷🥐
