Just a heads up man, you NEED to raise that super low idle, before you starve your engine and it leaves you stranded. Honda Shadow oil pumps start working at stock idle at ~1200 rpm. Though we love how these bikes sound at really low idle, far too many Shadow riders have fried their engines trying to copy Harley sounds at super low idle.
not just for oil pressure you can hear the bottom end beatin' itself to a earlier than normal demise, bouncin the rev limiter is easier on it than that and more productive. Hang on and feel some Hiro Honda powR

They're great. Got my '93 1100 for $1800 off a buddy of mine. Came with apes and a rejetted carb, I put a used Mustang touring saddle on it, as well as some saddlebags, still in it for less than $3k. Has 34k miles, and fires up every time.

I took the baffles out of my Vance n Hines short shots on my Honda Phantom and it's wayyy louder than this. A little too loud. Has a good sound tho. Especially for a 750

You don't need to rejet for the hole saw MOD. I had a 2000 Shadow 600 that I ran for probably about 9 years before I decided to go with some TJ customs backdraft exhaust along with a velocity stack. Then I rejetted because you'll end up running super lean with the free flowing intake & shortened open exhaust. If you haven't done the hole saw MOD do it & never look back! I never regretted it one bit! 👍😁
I've got a '93 VT1100C, and the baffles in my exhaust were made to be removed. I think they're some kind of aftermarket set of pipes, but I'm unsure. Either way, didn't need to tweak the jets or anything after I pulled the baffles out. Sounds good, and runs like a champ
