I don't think using indecision was right. It's as though he has adhd. Vader is usually quick to decide. It's more that he stops doing something because it's at a crossroads and he knows that if he makes the choice, something bad will happen.

1:00 the fact that the emperor had Wolf Pack and the Courusant Guard present at his aide (which to my knowledge are two of the toughest and elite types the republic-now empire have) with vader/Anakin being able to kill them with no problem just puts me in awe at how powerful he is.

Love this. The most heartbreaking part is Vader reflecting on his past as Anakin so he could feel a slight sense of his old normality and for the love of Padme. The bit when he hugs her but he realises it’s just the emperor, then Vader deep breathes in panic and he suddenly realises again what he is. One of the best Sith Lords in the galaxy

I'm an old SW fan, opening night 1977, I was there. I was there another 6 times before they took it out of our cinema. This interpretation took my breath away. The Vader I've always wanted to see. The conflicted, torn, and haunted Vader, grappling with his connection to Padme, the desire for revenge against Palpatine, and the thirst for absolute power. Well done, my hat is off to you.

Darth Huno agreed the sequel trilogy adds absolutely nothing to the Star Wars saga. Heck people didn’t like the prequels but I personally like them because they added layers to the saga.
I find this fan film AWESOME AND AMAZING! The scene when Vader sees Padme is heart breaking but beautiful.
Rewatching this masterpiece today i noticed something obvious but very powerful.
Vader will always reject with violence or brutality his former name,but when Padmè calls him Anakin,Vader had no power at all over Skywalker,he can't repress his former self,Anakin's persona was fully victorious.

@Danny Walters Jr. I'm one of the VFX Artists that worked on the film, those clone troopers weren't over weighted, they were really expensive and the owners of them didn't want anything to happen to them. SWT"s original plan was to have the troopers go flying across the room and crashing into the walls when they were getting shot.

This is absolutely amazing! As an avid Star Wars fan in 2023 seeing the pitfalls of Disney's new canon, I can't help but say that this is just what the Star Wars universe needs. The story really fleshes out Vader as a character, especially with his anguish over Padme's death during the transition of the Galactic Republic into the Galactic Empire following Revenge of the Sith, and the special effects and acting far surpass those of any other fan film I have seen on TH-cam.
This is genuinely the most incredible Star Wars fan short that I’ve ever had the privilege of watching. I’m looking forward to more.

More like congratulations, Disney has robbed you at gunpoint and proceeded to make money off of something you put time and effort into making. It's so cool to see Vader at his best, being actually powerful and ruthless (whilst sometimes slightly conflicted). We never got to see enough of this in the movies, and there is huge potential for content that goes beyond and delves into the many unanswered questions. Please keep pushing back the veil and revealing ever more - I trust that the flavour will feel consistent & cannon upheld along the way. And I must say this was all-round well executed, exciting, and shows great promise. A great future in this, I see!

Lucasfilms looked at Disney, and said "No, this is wrong you are violating the agreement." and forced them to take the claim down, and called them out on it. It’s so much detail and love crafted into this, it almost got me emotional. It’s deeper than any fan fiction I’ve seen or read. Thank you SWT. You made my year.
The moment when Vader watches his younger self and padme, that shit nearly broke me. Even though it was obviously Vader on the screen, all i could see was Anakin begging to have his old life returned to him. The last time i legit cried while watching star wars was when i was a little kid. This 15 minute video is a goddamn masterpiece that rivals the OT itself.

Friedrich der Große royal guards and phase 2 clones were active at the same time. See episode 3. Venator class star destroyers were used until the common class of the empire replaced them all. This is only 8 months after the fall of the republic. Not enough time to create a whole fleet of star destroyers or completely replace clone troopers. Pay attention to the details and you will understand.

I honestly never got into the books, comics, etc when I was younger and then when I got older SW became a distant memory. But it was the trilogy that meant more to me than any other film in my life. The key difference here, is that one of these movies was made entirely by fans, and the others were all made by a big name in the industry, and yet it seems if they had worked with these people, their movies, AND this movie, both could have been much better than they are presently.

When vader talks to padme, across the stars starts playing. Just epic!
I like how Palpatine acknowledges that, although he is his Master, he and Vader are very much rivals. He knows that Anakin/Vader has more than enough ability to surpass him. He knows that if Vader were to snap out of his depression, there would be nothing stopping him from destroying Palpatine. So he deflects Vader's ire by enforcing his hate of Jedi. He keeps him occupied so he has no time to heal and realize his true enemy. I love it.

This was proven to be true when Vader regained much of his confidence and became one of the most powerful Sith Lords in history, and he would have been twice the power of Palpatine had he snapped out of his depression. Even at his current state, someone said it was foolish of Palpatine not to fear Vader.
While Anakin doesn't realize the way of the Sith, Palpatine very much does, Sith masters and apprentices are true rivals everyone else training so that they may overcome their rival...

Personally I don't like any MCU movie since the first Avengers, it became really generic, boring and sometimes absolutely garbage (Thor 3, Avengers 2, Captain Marvel) and what they did with Spider-Man it's a shame ! But as you said, it's extremely successful. But SW could follow the same path, they just need to put some passion that SW requires. People trash the prequels but ROTS had much more balls and emotions then all the movies that Disney did...
They have an absolutely brilliant universe and histories to make with the Old Republic movies, they just need to put some passion, be bolder and try to do something a little bit darker and adult to have some amazing movies that the fans will really enjoy
